If the press releases in the last few hours are anything to go by (yeah I know we can't exactly trust them), I'd imagine the first announcement will be about David Villa. If they're to be believed, fee is sorted & he has agreed personal terms.

Well, because the fee story came from Mundo Deportivo, a Barca based newspaper, I just took it as a given that it was a press release. Sorry $hoguN.

I wasn't being a dick. I was just pointing out that they are articles and not press releases, which are very different.

The Goal.com article was written by Greg Stobart. Someone who seems to have a good reputation despite working for Goal. He IS out in Brazil, so he could have good info.

Greg Stobart's reputation varies quite a bit actually. For all the times people say he is great there are equal numbers who point out that his articles usually follow on from us all hearing a bunch of ITK on the subject first or a Jason Burt article.

If it has followed on from a JB article, then (although it is slight plagiarism) he may not be wrong. Let's just wait and see how it goes. Personally I think we'll find out next week.

I agree. I have found Baldini's moves to be quite troubling. I am already regretting him joining us. If we get stuck with four or five absolutely paradigm-shifting world class players I am going to got bat-shit. I will kick a blind man the man in the crotch. Get it together Baldini!
