Even just that sums Rashford up a bit for me, going for goal from a stupid angle when he could have played that across goal for Kane.

How to not use the best striker in world football? Play Marcus Rashford alongside him. Take away his pace and he’d be a championship player

I think it was Chris Sutton that refused the England B call up. Le Tissier played the game and scored a hatrick, but was still overlooked in the main squad.

He was an incredible player. If he was Brazilian they'd have built the team around him. I might have to go and watch a Youtube video of his goals now.

My guilty pleasure!

Love the story about Xavis whole family being obsessed with Le Tissier

He's still only 21. People were saying the same thing about Sterling a couple of years ago.

Maddison for Barkley and this team would look a great deal better.

Not a huge fan of Rashford, but one of very few England players who can create something out of nothing so I'd persevere.

Imagine how much better this England team would be if we had a midfield built on guile and technique rather than brawn and physicality

Don't think I've ever seen Rashford make a pass as good as that out to Rose.

Silly to write him off at 21.

A cynical shirt pull like that should be a red IMO.

It never will be, but I'd like to see it one day.

Rose’s crossing is horrendous. I really hope we give Ben Davies a go at left back in our next fixture.

I don’t particularly rate Rice generally, but he is completely pointless in a game like this. He stepped forwards a minute ago, Sterling made a great run beyond his man and Rice turned backwards, hesitated then passed sideways. Water carrier

Would say Sancho instead of Rashford also, even though he'd be on the left.

True. Perhaps I was a bit harsh. His pace is a weapon

I don’t think he’s anywhere near as good as quite a few make out though.
