Has Gomez been playing? I don't think anyone should be in the national team if they aren't getting in their club side.

I still think Winks would be a good International player, but he's probably slipped down the pecking order in recent months.

Right now he’s England’s best midfielder. It’s popular to slate him but I think it’s obvious what he brings to a team. I’d take him at Tottenham everyday of the week no problem.

Just seen the Czech team. Apart from schick I don’t know any of them. Teams like them and Bulgaria really don’t seem to produce players anymore. I guess it’s down to money.

They had good teams though that held their own. Poborsky, Berger, smircer, rosicky. They all played for good teams. But like you say, no real world class players.

To be fair, Czechs have been a bit hit and miss since going alone. They’ve always seemed to be better than what you’d see on paper.

This current lot are way off precious sides though. Same with Bulgaria, although they’ve not really had too much to shout about overall.

I’m sure both will produce some good sides at some point in the near future though. Goes in cycles.

That's fine but he doesn't fit into our team on the basis of we don't play the same way as Liverpool.

He's won of those players who excel in their current system but when you take them out he looks horribly exposed.
