Foden not playing in the right part of the pitch to influence the game enough. Chilwell, Gallagher & Maguire off it. Gordon looks promising.. Do we not have any fit right backs? Is Konsa a right back? I'd rather see Gomez or Rico Lewis there.

Our press has looked good. Our midfield passing has been great at times but what we do in the final third is still speculative. Foden is wasted out on the right. I'd love to see Gallagher hooked on the hour mark (or earlier) and Foden given 30 minutes alongside Bellingham in that midfield.

I don’t think Southgate will do that. One reason the press looks good is because of the energy Gallagher brings. You then sacrifice a bit of central creativity for that. If you had Foden and Bellingham central with only Rice I think they would be exposing out fairly weak defense much more
