The Goat has some broadly un-surprising ITK from what he considers a reliable source. Most of it just confirms what is being said by others: The Goat's source said...............
- Bale will not be sold this Summer under any circumstances and hasn't been agitating to leave. His young baby is a factor in this.
- Huddlestone, Livermore and possibly Parker (if we get a good offer) are expected to depart, leaving Sandro as the only remaining defensive midfielder.
- Rose and Townsend will be in the first team squad next season.
- He doesn't think anyone will be interested in buying Adebayor because of his wages.
- Levy is a nightmare to do business with (surprise) and his habit of dragging deals out to the last minute aggravates the other directors as well as the fans. I didn't get the impression that he expects this to change.
- The decision to remove Redknapp was motivated by a wide variety of factors, not just last season's slump in form. Quite a lot of it had to do with the club rule on public statements that "everything goes through Donna [Cullen]", a rule that Harry was obviously unable to follow whenever he was confronted with a microphone and a reporter.

The Goat hears from a seperate source that Baldini is done and the lack of announcement is supposedly due to a pre planned holiday. Conversations about targets have taken place however. Also there could well be more than one Brazilian coming to WHL next season. The club is very uptight about leaks at the moment, hence the dearth of good ITK, but I am confident we will have a good summer.

The Goat has a source who says that he's hearing David Villa could be the main attacking target and there is a very good chance we'll get him. The interesting thing was he said he expected Defoe and Ade to stay as it is felt that we need premier experience up top. This source is a seperate to todays earlier updates but equally trustworthy.

All the talk around Montserrat Caballé is that the sale of the house is very close to being agreed and she expects it to be completed after the Confederations Cup is over.

Jasper is on the money regarding Parker & Championship interest. To put some flesh on it, The Goat hears that Rangers are very keen indeed although there are obviously other clubs in the frame. West Ham and Palace we mentioned to me. The Goat is also hearing £3m is the number.
