Scheffler is really really good

Scheffler is on an all-time hot streak right now. It doesn’t matter what course set up, conditions or challengers - he’s just demolishing the field. Even Tiger hasn’t had a start to a season this good.

Will be interesting to see if he can deal with the pressure now that he’s the clear favourite at a major.

This Scheffler guy has pretty much come from nowhere. I’m not a great golf fan but I wouldn’t have even recognised him in the street till this week ?

On another note I can’t stand the way Sky obsess over Mclroy. Not won a major for 7 years and been largely awful in most. Not sure last time he was world no 1 but was probably 7 years ago.

There was a graphic about how quickly he’s gone from winning his first professional tournament to becoming World No1. Blows everyone else out of the water and as you say can still pretty much walk down the street without anyone giving him a second glance

The problem with Rory is that he’s just so unbelievably talented. If he wasn’t such an incredibly gifted golfer he’d have fallen off a cliff long ago. Seems to have lost that real hunger

If he does eventually win The Masters he’ll only be one of 5? golfers to have ever won all four majors so he really is a pretty special player
