Jermaine Jenas Appreciation Society Thread (For DC Boy)

Why has there been no enquiries about Jenas? Not even any paper gossip, which is weird. Surely Modric's arrival would prompt any number of lazy journos to start spinning a yarn.
Although who would be interested? No chance of Jenas going to a top 4, newcastle are not a viable option. Is it the fact that no well supported, scrutinised club would be interested in a 'unfashionable' player so there is no point fabircating something?
Keane to Liverpool being the opposite...

I wish everyone would lay off of Jenas.
I'm sure people were not slagging him off when he scored in both legs of the semi-final last season against the scum.
He is a quality player who is only going to get better.

It will be Modric and Jenas in the middle,
and that waste of space Zokora on the bench.

Hi slunksoma :) - nothing personal in the following rant - you're just the particular straw that broke this particular camel's back :)

How about the fact that JJ has been our best mid over the past two seasons - hiow about the fact that JJ is a key part of our first team squad - how about the fact that I'm sticking you on ignore and everyone else who wants to have ridiculous pops at a guy who has helped to us to Europe 3 years in a row and our first trophy in nine years - yes I am pissed as it happens and yes I am fucking sick to the back teeth of the JJ bashers

I'm going to the Roma game and I swear if someone starts badmouthing JJ - there's gonna be a ruck and if I get banned so be it - I'll watch it on TV from now on - frankly I've had enough :)

I thang you :)

I didn't mean that to sound anti Jenas, just that its something I thought the press would pick up on.

We'll see tomorrow!

Hi Slunk S :)- sorry about above - have seen your subsequent comments - no ignores from me :) - though I wouldn't blame you if you ignored me from now me :)

But seriously from me from now on, it's official zero tolerance policy on JJ - if people have a valid criticism re JJ - fine - but random abuse I'm fucking sick of it :) ignore ignore ignore etc :)

Cheers Paul :) seriously I've had fucking enough of it -

if a manager such as JR with the squad he has available thinks JJ is good enough to put the treasured shirt of THFC on his back - then I am not prepared to put up with muppets indulging their vendettas against him

They'll probably be bigger than me, they'll probably be tougher than me - but I've fucking had it up to here :)

Dude, you must have an ignore list as long as your arm. Would be interesting to see it.

On Noodles info - who says it was passed on by Ben? Possibility of deflecting the blame?

Robben, Duff, Cole and SWP

Didn't harm Chelsea!

Lets get Capel too if we can afford him

Hi Neville :) and how often did CFC play 4-4-2 with two out and out wingers - hardly ever (Cole is not a winger BTW as I'm sure you know :)

That CFC example perfectly confirms my point I think :)

Mourinho was I believe a 4-3-3 man - he certainly didn't play 2 out and out wingers as his normal formation AFAIK :)

hi Bobbo :) it is a very long list - I appear to have irritated quite a few on here and vice-versa :)

But I couldn't possibly show my list to you - it's full of some of the most nefarious villains and ne'er do wells that SC has to offer :)

Yeah, I hope JJ continues to improve as a player. I think he could be the nuts this year.

Whoever else we buy this window, I'm sure, barring injury, JJ will be in the starting 11 on the opening day of the season. Despite usually playing for us an attack minded box to box player, I actually think he's currently our best RM or DM option.
