Thing is, he will only miss two months of league football which isn't enough for me. Should be at least half the season.

I think he got off very lightly.

Should've been a year, at least, espesh with previous.

We are in an unprecedented situation and whilst i'm no lover of FIFA, they have had to act pretty quickly and decisively and I think they've done just that personally.

PEOPLE, you are forgetting that he will be banned for pre-season so he won't be match fit by the 26th October so he might not start games till late November.

I don't get how it's only 9 matches yet it's 4 months?

And can LFC appeal?

Regardless, it weakens Liverpool's stance either looking towards having Suarez remain at the club for what will be a huge season for them or that it does compromise their position at the negotiating table with Barcelona and Madrid.
