Conte, but it’s a pipe dream. Potter would be nice but can’t see him joining us now.

Realistically I’d be happy with Gerrard or Parker, at least they will command a bit of respect.

I've been worn down so much by what I've watched this season that I firmly believe anyone would be a better fit than Nuno.

I wouldn't want Parker or Gerrard personally. I still don't think they've shown enough for me to think we'd still have the right person if it takes a while to see any sort of reasonable improvement.

Who ever it is must be an attacking coach. As a club, defensive football will never work long term regardless of results.

I was watching us today and there is no vertical passing at all. It was the problem we had in poch's last season and it has never really gone away. Yes, that is partly down to the players, but it mostly down to coaching. If the manager says that we should pass through the middle that is what the players will try to do. None of our midfield players are of the type or quality needed to be great playing that way, but at least they will do it regardless of how poorly. We did it once today that I noticed, and guess what, we were running at utd's back line!

At the moment it is all so predictable and easy to nullify. Keeper gives it to centre back, centre back gives it to full back, fullback gives it to central midfielder, midfielder gives back to centre back, then repeat ad infinitum. Because its so slow and predictable, the opposition are set up to press it and our wide players are always having to receive the ball under pressure and facing the wrong way. They then play backwards which invites the other team to press some more. It happens every match. Its ridiculous. A small child could see it, yet somehow nuno seems to see something else. He also seems to believe that if we keep doing it something will change. Its shocking.

Nuno has got to go and it must be now. He isn't going to turn it around because this is how he wants us to play. Wolves hardly scored any goals but we always scored a decent number, he leaves wolves and joins us and suddenly we stop scoring goals! Coincidence? I dont think so.

I refused to watch us at the end under Jose, I'm at the same point again with nuno. Not because I dont love spurs, but because I don't want us to win as it will prolong him being our manager! I would rather finish 15th playing football the right way than finish in the top 6 playing like this.

I've had enough.

Well at this point I don't think we are able to pick and choose... Parker to me feels like a "Redknapp type of person" and we are in a stage where we need to steady the ship.

Still find it funny people in here saying they wouldn't want X or Y. Lads we havnt a fucking choice, we are a toxic club with a toxic chairman & a bunch of pricks for players. No club is going to allow us take their manager, no manager is going to kick up a fuss to leave his club to join us and there are no good unattached managers available.
Makes for depressing reading but unfortunately it's true. And for those saying it's a overreaction think about it for a second. How badly it's gone for Nuno is a real warning sign for anyone, people are wise to levy and won't want to work with him now & they have seen what these cowards of players are so why oh why would a good manager come to us now

Does it really matter when Levy still has his fingers poking around everywhere. He is the common denominator.

Yes but of course we can to some degree.... I'm not saying he would be bad, neither him or Gerrard have shown anything or much to suggest that they'd be bad in any way, for me I think it's just that they're both relatively new managers, so I'm not sure appointing one of them is the best option when we are looking to 'steady the ship'. Of course they'd be better than Nuno though, I'm not denying that.

In what world can't we attract Potter?
He supposedly turned us down over summer according to reports and ITK. If true why would agree mid season. Why wouldn’t we attract Ten Hag, he’s be the ideal choice. Don’t see ether coming tho.

We crossed a tipping point today. You could feel the crowd turn and give up on Nuno for good.
He’s a dead man walking and best to fire sooner rather than later.
It’s the lack of energy and guile in the team that is so damning of his management, but I don’t just blame him- he was never the right appointment for us in the first place, and there are some rats in the dressing room for sure.
all things considered though, we should be doing better than we are with the resources at our disposal.
this club is so frustrating sometimes, but one day someone will get it right………….

Thought we burnt our bridges with him in the summer??

I went with Gallardo.

Saw a three minute YouTube video about him yesterday alongside some fantastic South American commentary and now I can tell you he's my favourite.

Seriously I just want a progressive coach with the bollocks to grab this team and coach it into a high intensity entertaining unit.
