If they keep losing, I can see their board panicking. Why would they sack Puel when they are one game away from a final and eight points above the relegation zone? Reallistically they're a top ten club and two points off the top ten.

Spurs hammered them, Everton did as well. Narrow defeats to Burnley and WBA. If they lose to Norwich in the cup replay, and go out to Liverpool (I expect that tbh), then it becomes tough. Leicester, Swansea, WHU afterwards. Need to win all 3, probably, to get back on track.
Moyes should be next though. Not Puel. Sunderland look hopeless, as does he on the sidelines.
They were meant to be getting Yann M'Vila back on a free. It was all agreed. Then he rescinded the agreement and signed a new deal with Rubin Kazan. Some stories a few months ago said that Moyes didn't know there wouldn't be any money to spend when he took the job - no wonder he looks so down on the bench. It's only a matter of time...Southampton have suffered this year from not replacing Pelle properly. If they can sign someone in this window they'll be fine. Saying that it sounds like they need to replace Fonte as well.
Sunderland are a mess. Moyes could probably get them out of it if he had the funds, but they've got no money to spend. I'm still a bit surprised that Moyes hasn't identifed some good cheap players from his time in Spain.
I'm surprised he can remember that far back.Yeah Moyes is doomed. Was just reading his comments post game yesterday..
"The players need to take responsibility and stop making individual mistakes, but I didn't think our overall performance was that bad.
"The fans left early because there is only one road out of here, not just because of the result. They actually leave when we are winning as well sometimes."
He's really not coming across too well imo. He didn't even bother making a sub.
I think he'd be gone if they weren't one game away from a Wembley final. Beating Liverpool might save him at least until the EFL final has been played. Why would they sack Puel when they are one game away from a final and eight points above the relegation zone? They were playing really well when Charlie Austin was on form before his injury. They desperately need another goalscorer though, you're right. Rodriguez is still not quite the player he was pre-injury.Southampton have suffered this year from not replacing Pelle properly. If they can sign someone in this window they'll be fine. No way Puel and Moyes survive this week. I mean, they just cant. Can they? At least one has to be going. Give the new manager time to do something in the window....

Another useless performance from Sunderland. Moyes must be circling the drain, if they can indeed afford to get rid of him.
Yep, they did well. Leicester will be saved by the 3-4 terrible teams below them - not that Ranieri will be sacked, might just walk away a hero though..A good win for Southampton today. They're now eleven points above the relegation zone.
Palermo appoint their 10th manager in a year. Diego Lopez. Good luck...
Permanent deal?
Permanent deal?
He signed until summer 2018 but I doubt he'll last that long. They're in a mess. 10 home games so far, drawn 1, lost 9.
Mark Warburton says he has not stood down as Rangers manager, despite the club saying that they have accepted the resignation of him and his staff.http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38939432
Mark Warburton apparently resigned, but some sources online claiming he didn't know he has...!
