Adi Hütter will apparently take on a coaching job in the Premier League for the first time in the summer: As the "Kurier" reports, the 53-year-old Austrian, who has been without a job since leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2022, will be at Crystal Palace for the new season. After the separation from Patrick Vieira, the south Londoners are temporarily looked after by old master Roy Hodgson (75) and are clearly on course to stay up in the league.

Awaiting multiple Hitler chants at grounds next season if this happens :meh:

On first glance I read this as Crystal Palace are currently looking after ROY Hodgson, like it’s their time to have grandad over for Christmas.

Sam isn't fashionable but he will increase their chances of staying up.
I'm surprised he wasn't called earlier by any number of the relegation sides. Everton got Dyche, Allardyce is next on the list of keeping clubs up.

I don't mind Sam, but Leeds going down would be great. Awful fan base, up there with Millwall

So we’re at what 14 sackings and 2 caretaker sackings for the season?

Clubs have been on a mad one.

And then you have the lad who puts the cones out going for a record stint at the top of the league and Eddie Howe turning into a colossus of the game…

Really, really want Leeds to go down now.
Firstly, that video of their players on Saturday showed them as pretty arrogant and horrible.
But listening to Allardyce’s comments has done it for me. He genuinely thinks he is God’s gift to coaching and the sheer smugness if he were to succeed would be unbearable.

I’ve never liked him; the whole ‘I’d get a big job if I were called Allardici’ is embarrassing. You got the biggest job in English football mate and you screwed it by being a greedy fat toad.

I'm torn.
So want Sam to fail but don't want Leeds to go down
for historic and regional connections.
Hmmm, tough one.

I don’t remember him ever doing a particularly bad job anywhere though.
I agree but he still gets shown the door regularly. I wonder why ? I suspect there are two possible reasons. 1) his character and 2) he creates a team of survivors and not a team of winners.

Sam is good when you need the short term survival plan. I expect he'll go in summer or during next season if they manage to stay up. He won't last very long.

This season has to be a record for the number of managerial changes surely? And not just the Prem either. Crawley have had like 4 including interims.

It is a new record for the PL, I think the previous was 11.

Be interesting to see which clubs still have the same manager they started the season with. City, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, West Ham. Is that it?

Newcastle and Forest. 15 managerial changes but two have done it twice.
