There is no way that Poch wanted to keep players that didn’t want to be here!!
Look how fast he shipped out Walker as soon as he heard he wasn’t on board anymore. And that only happened so quickly because we got a great offer

So IMO you can’t blame Poch for the state of the current squad and the contractual issues so then the chairman has a hell of a lot to answer for...
Walker was hot property, same can’t be said of some of our players!

Going against the grain in here and I'm prepared to be ridiculed but I still have faith that this can be turned around with Poch at the helm. At the time of typing we're 7th in the league and not a million miles off 4th, though this is mainly due to other clubs also being shite, granted. Talk of relegation is hyperbolic, and whilst the current situation isn't ideal I honestly believe we'll turn this around. I'm a hopeless optimist but I'd rather that than languish in my own anger and frustration.

Still got some top players that want to leave and many clubs would like them. Just not for the price Dan wants!!!

the problem now is the good players will be available on a free very soon, so most clubs, particularly european clubs who can negotiate with the players in January, will be happy to wait and save some cash/offer a bigger signing on fee.

it was different with Walker as at the time he wanted to leave he still had a decent contract length so we could command a big fee.

Absolutely agree with you. Who’s fault is it that it’s come to this?

Poch wanted Toby out a year to 18 months ago etc etc etc....

in my opinion it comes down to Levy - we had to roll the dice a little, pay the money for replacements and also lower expectations of what we could get for outgoings.

the blame for the way we’ve been playing and the poor way the relationship with those players has been handled lies squarely with Poch.

I wish I had your confidence, tooey, but today's performance was an absolute gut-punch.

Winner, winner chicken dinner

He would get so much more time and grace if he would just play the kids, wouldn’t mind at all.

I’m really starting to think he wants to get sacked

With levy obviously waiting for the money when ole goes this is only going to get worse

Love the optimism. Just seen it too many times...when the players have given up playing for the manager it only ends one way.

You can slaughter the players all you like, but was it them who decided we’d need three central defenders at home against Watford, statistically the worst team in the league this season?

Was it the players who wanted to play the ball around the back at 1-1 in the 94th minute?
