I don’t think we should go down the gambling company route
Whilst I agree we should try and protect the brand, I think gambling is pretty ubitiqiuous in the industry so it wouldn't really wouldn't stand out much.

I'd rather have a bookie than subprime lending

i dont know if kramer on ftl has any previous itk record but anyway:
Apparently naming rights close with Qatar Airways which pissed off the chap who told me as he was involved in trying to broker the deal two years ago and levy pulled the plug then for some reason
Hopefully true as we need the extra 35m a season or whatever the figure is

pinch of salt needed her i think

£35m a year would be one of the largest stadium sponsorship deals ever I think

I remember mentioning Qatar a few years ago as the account manager at the time told me to expect some good news ( I work in travel and deal a lot with that airline and they knew I was Tottenham )

Not sure if that’s same Kramer that was doing updates on the stadium build. Think he was an odd job man at stadium.

doesn’t really roll off the tongue. What would it be Qatar Airways Arena ?

Good money and with the World Cup Qatar are clearly trying to increase their involvement in football but really not sure how I'd feel with a stadium named after a country which has spent the last few years abusing the human rights of workers involved in building stadiums etc.

It would be, but there really is no other stadium with comparable broad spectrum appeal.
As well as the Premier League, we will be hosting world championship level boxing, NFL, concerts and probably much, much more so the appeal in terms of exposure is as big, if not bigger than other stadiums.

I'd be astonished if it's £35m per year to be honest. I'd have bitten your hand off for half that much.

Hmmm, not sure I want any of the oil states involved at my club.
Yes, the money would be nice but not where it's coming from.
