We will absolutely get a top manager. We're one of the richest ten clubs in the world, we're in London, we have a world-class stadium and training facilities, and a squad full of internationals and some fantastic talent.

We'll get a new football director, a new women's manager and a new men's manager.

Yes, the press right now isn't good, but it wasn't when we sacked Nuno, and we went and got Conte.

Spot on. I said earlier we will never have a problem getting in a new manager.

A director of football is another story. Looks an absolute horror or a job.

The chaos makes it harder to convince top managers, and we lose our negotiation leverage. We will end up paying more to convince people to join. Not sure how someone like Levy didn't forsee this kind of situation. Perhaps he isn't as good as he thinks he is

On the other hand, there's lots of upside if you back yourself to succeed. And there are never a shortage of top people backing themselves to succeed. That confidence is part of why they do.

At top clubs it's rare that someone takes over when things have been a roaring success. It's invariably when things have gone downhill.

I am going to disagree somewhat as, in my humble opinion, I cannot imagine why any manager worth their salt would want to work under these owners.

Hopefully the media go in studs up on levy. He's deserves all the shit that's hopefully being slung his way
If he's as thin skinned as has been alluded to over media criticism of him personally then things might get a bit tasty if this season heads further South.

Nowhere else to hide
No more fall guys to take the hit

If Kane puts in a transfer request which quite frankly, I wouldn't blame him one bit then it's a perfect storm for real change - won't be pretty but I feel it's necessary.

People with a different opinion to you aren't 'frothers.' Have some respect.

I'm not referring to people "who have a different opinion" to me. I'm ambivalent at best on Daniel Levy and Enic.

I am talking about the vocal minority on here - and in the stands - who absolutely cannot stand any opinion that isn't ENIC OUT OMG LEVY CHEAP **** FUCKER

Archibald and Crooks has been Levy out for as long as I've ever known and he's not a frother. It's likes of John Weldon and Sir Ninny and the rest of pile on neg-reppers who absolutely evisecrate anyone who takes their shit with a grain of salt. The vast majority of us want to have a proper discussion not the usual lazy tropes and desperate desire to spend like we're run by an Oil Slaver. People who treat the issue as if its simple when its actually very complicated.

I'm more than happy to listen to sensible arguments for how to change the Chairman and ownership effectively. What I don't want to listen to is "froth". It's boring. We know you hate him. That's not going to change anything.

Problem we have is which will you attract?:

A. A top manager that has ambitions and the backing to win things or
B. A top manager that looks at us as a nice pay and when Daniels asks in the interview 'Will you be ok taking the players the 'committee' decides and keep schtum about it?' '15m you have a deal...'
Then whenever everyone is confused in a couple of years why this winning manager can no longer can win things... well you know how it goes...

Feels like we are at the mad emperor stage.

Not that he’s a bastion of knowledge but Paul O Keefe today mentioned that Levy is away at the moment. Tbh I’m not sure what’s worse, Levy being out of London during a time of crises or locked away in his office peeing into a jar. One can but hope old Joe has finally woken from his slumber to banish him for good.

For someone that doesn't like angry you certainly come across as an angry little man...

You say you like sensible arguments yet you start out with frothers, now it's not 'take their shit'. You really like to open up the debate to some sensible discussion. And calling out John for being the vocal minority, that's a 1st, he's often called out here but for anything but being vocal. You carry on with your bile...

Wait til he releases a video a la Fab yesterday

“I’m in hut somewhere, we’ve used our last candle and Fab has just written to the pope. Sister Cullen said she’d pop by later with some maltesers and a girly mag- later guys “

I thought Mourinho and Conte were fools for taking the job.

Both left with diminished reputations.

It's a pay day for an experienced Manager...which is why we should go for the hungry, talented Manager for whom Tottenham is a step up.

Jol - Step up from coaching
Redknapp - Step up from smaller clubs
Pochettino - Step up from smaller clubs

Daniel Levy is Joe Lewis's God son. No chance.

JL has ZERO interest in the footballing side.

That's why I said Vivienne may try to do something.

Look, Lewis is very very old now, he will pass in the next few years. So that means she will step in and either she'll want out or she may want to make some significant changes.

@Trix has already stated he's seen her at games, which may mean she is actively getting involved.

The bad press for Levy will not help him

It's not spot on.

We might have great facilities and pay well, but its become more and more evident that every manager eventually encounters real problems working under Levy.

And it risks their reputation.

I bet every top manager we approach will be thinking carefully about all the above.
