For once, just for once I’d like us to be happy with our signings 2-3 weeks before the window closes and have our manager come out and say we’ve done our business for the window.

I won’t meltdown over the Ansu thing, but Levy and co better have a couple aces up their sleeves or I’m gonna burn this mofucker to the ground tomorrow.

It’s just truly baffling the lack of self awareness this man has.

However, he probably realises the fans are on board with Ange, so they won’t mind as much.

This is why us as fans, have to demonstrate in numbers, years upon years of fuck ups.

The greatest trick The Levy ever pulled was convincing the world that Scott Munn exists.
It's honestly baffling the lack of clarity surrounding what should be the key figurehead overseeing the new Ange regime - that's if obviously you believe Levy takes a firm backseat of course.

Nothing from the club.
Nothing from journo's.

If there's contractual issues to iron out before a clear start date then fucking say so but this radio silence is pissing me right off but why should I honestly be surprised when it comes to PR/Comms from this club.

I'm not sure you can talk publicly about a person's employment contract.

That's akin to suggesting we can't discuss any player as they are under contract with their respective clubs.

Not looking for details of his basic salary and private medical benefits - just some clarity on when he's looking to commence his role in an official capacity would be a start.

For me the most frustrating thing about Levy is this habit he has of leaving us short in one or two key areas. It’s like every time it looks like we are close to having a really good squad Levy decides close is good enough and we end the window short. There seems to be a certain attitude of “winging it” every season.

It’s strange because infrastructure-wise, the stadium, the training ground etc all the emphasis seems to be on delivering world-leading facilities with no expense spared.

But in terms of the playing squad, even when we are spending a lot, I am left with the impression of “will this do”? What is the minimum we have to spend to get back in the Champions League? Can we get away with not buying a new CB until next summer?” etc.

Because he can use this to make a lot more money when he decides to sell up.

He can but there is also a lot of money to be made by making Tottenham a more successful team. I suppose the question is does he have the appetite for that?

I think he is ultra-cautious and making the step up from a top six biggest club to genuine title contender is too much of a gamble for him. I suspect being a top six club is a comfort zone for him.

I think his plan is/always was to keep us around those Champions League spots with trophies and the occasional title challenge being a bonus . I think that’s pretty much the maximum we can expect from him now.

Irrational of me I know but the sight of Josh Levy sitting there hobnobbing with celebrities against Fulham made my arsehole vomit, complete with pieces of carrot and everything. In fact the sight of him at any time is vomitworthy. His dad carks it and he's multi. My dad leaves me a wallet full of betting slips, a fistful of IOU's and memories of a constantly told rhyme about Hitler only having one ball.

Added to my list of reasons I want that tortoise faced dad of his ousted :woot:

All of them Harry Kane to score from outside the box and to score a header :cautious:

When he played for us he was regularly 90/1 or higher to do that. For Bayern the other day he was 18/1

That bet is dead. When he left I was more annoyed at the loss of cashflow than anything else :D

Grim odds those and i'd bet he won't be shooting much outside the box over there as they waltz it into the box for him (the shlags)

It's gonna have to be Maddison to score from range and Richarlison 3+ Offsides.

It's why the "legacy" fans are being priced out. Day trippers, tourists and Michael McIntyre don't give a monkey's.
I like a lot of your posts, even though I don't always agree with your views, because you make good points. But you're always going on about the tourists and day-trippers. Like this is all somehow their fault, and the "legacy" fans are the hapless victims of it all.

How many of these legacy fans rocked up for the protest? 42,000 General admission season ticket holders, and only 300 people cared enough to go to the protest.

I asked on here if anyone went - and did not get a single reply. Granted, some might have missed my post, but for all the piss and vinegar in this thread, I would have expected at least some reports, photos, or feedback.

And quite frankly, the Michael McIntyre point is silly. He's been going to matches regularly for years. Just because he makes more money or gets tickets for free doesn't make him any less "legacy".

So, let's just stop with the gatekeeping.
