Expecting everyone to show faux outrage for the first few months claiming it to look crap and then people will get used to it then like it.

That's what normally happens with these things.

It's alright, the other one was alright... irrelevant really.

Seems the Premier League is also going without sponsorship apparently. That will hopefully cut down on one of my irrational pet peeves... do not like the use of BPL and EPL.

No doubt kids will have to pay an extra couple of quid for it to sew on their shiny, overpriced club merchandise next season...

"From next season the Premier League will have seven main sponsors instead of one title sponsor. Two - Nike and EA Sports - have already been announced with five more to be named in the coming months. "

And eventually all seven of these sponsors will insist on their logos being displayed on team shirts and the players will end up looking like NASCAR drivers.

Nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.

The only way this makes any sense (not that it makes the design any less horrible) is if they're aiming it at kids. If I hadn't known what it was before seeing it, I'd have genuinely thought it was something to do with a kids TV show. Or maybe Channel 5.

Awful.

Agree.

Still think it looks crap though.

I think it looks OK as far as giant corporate logos go, but it's not an argument I'm going to lose sleep over.

I'm sure if they wanted it to be more representative they would have gone for a graphic of the FA lining up to suck off a Liver Bird, so I can live with a fat-faced lion with a crown on its head.

Do you think there's still time to petition the FA to change their mind? :ROFLMAO:
