Have they altered the plans at all? Seems quite the turn around...Approval recommended so expect another intervention by the Club before the meeting.

You can get what is known as "outline planning permission".Hopefully someone with a bit more know can shed some light on this. But every application the club has ever put in, it’s been detailed, number of floors, length, width height etc.
landlease application, from what I can tell, doesn’t do that. It stipulates it could be this tall, it could be this many, it be that many etc
how is it possible to obtain planning permission when no one knows exactly what’s been built?

Ah that makes sense. It is what Enfield Council are doing as well just up the road on the Joyce Avenue & Snell's Park estate. That development will be sure to effect the whole area as well, given it is quite a large one.You can get what is known as "outline planning permission".
But even on the outline planning permission spurs got on the southern end of the stadium development it went into more specific detail and named the number of flats and height. For a development this size it’s no wonder the club want more specific and more than just houses. I walked through Tottenham Hale for the Brighton game and there was nothing there other than blocks of flats, was like a ghost townYou can get what is known as "outline planning permission".
What can happen to an area when the football club leaves.
Legal action will halt this development. It is clearly being rushed through due to fear of losing the grant fundingThe Lendlease Planning Application was Approved at tonight’s planning meeting. Still some way to go though before any shovels are in the ground.
