Could have had both... Not a either or situation. Tielemans though seems to have adapted so much better. Let's see how Ndombele gets along though. But I would rather have had both players.

We got 2 cmf's in Ndombele and Lo Celso though.

I've never watched Lo Celso or Ndombele for that matter prior to signing for us... I had the impression based on his thread in the transfer window that he was more of a cam.....

He played as a CMF and CAM for Betis, he is actually versatile and can play in a few different positions.

Mings makes far to many mistakes. I haven't been that impressed tbh. Ake is a better Defender imo.

I don't like doing this and all the players I thought would make the grade at Spurs tend not to the last being Onomah

but I'd rather put our trust in Tanganga

he must be bad. I’m nowhere near convinced Ake would be good enough for a top 4 side. Apart from their transfer ban there’s a reason Chelsea don’t want to exercise their buyback clause

Nubel on a pre-contract in January solves a 50M+ problem before it becomes one. We have to take advantage of situations like this.

Then we can sell Lloris while he still has value.

I hope we have learned lessons. You have to replace proactively, not reactively.

I said this two summers ago.

Got fucking slated.

Two summers ago Lloris was in his prime and didn’t have a major arm injury.

I'll give you the arm injury.

But the chinks in the armour were slowly becoming visible a couple of years ago.

Some have chosen to ignore it.

He's shit with his feet. Always has been.

Have already begun talks with Norwich over a deal for Max Aarons according to the Telegraph

I wouldn’t be too confident!
He’s a Chelsea supporter. Although last summer we were linked, only 2 clubs made an offer for him. Man City and Man Utd. He declined and signed his new contract.

Read up a bit on Mings. Didn’t make the grade at academy level and went playing non-league. Started out as a LB, as despite his height, he was very lightweight. Bulked up over time to the level he is now. Now Lyons-Foster in our academy/development setup, often gets the same comments, technically great, but lightweight and rangy, do we not look at this and get them on specific training regimes?
Yeah the story goes that a scout came to watch another player in the team he played for and at the end of the game he approached Tyrone and said “Quit your job because you are signing for Ipswich Town football club”. Obviously he wouldn’t quit his job until they’d given him a contract, so they did exactly that. Amazing story

Bold statement, but he’s really got a bit of an Okocha/Ronaldinho vibe about him. If we’re looking for a replacement for Eriksen i think this would be a smart move. Looks like only a matter of time before he becomes a star

I haven't seen enough of him to know how he plays, but from the clips he isn't really Eriksen style, seems a different type of player. Hope we're in though. Odegaard looks a natural fit for Eriksen but will be in demand for sure.
