He's not dismissing it. He said a few tweets earlier that " Ade is now done. 1 more to come up top too ".

So according to JJ we're signing 2 strikers one of them being Ade. Unless it's someone left field it'll either be LLorente or Damiao.

I thought that "Done" meant the deal is completed and the player has been transferred? What exactly does "done" mean? Ade has been "done" several times, and even now he's gone from "Done" to "This one should be quicker now". I'm not bashing, I'd just like to know how to interpret the word because it comes up a lot.

They're talking about when it will be announced and that should be done quickly etc...JJ has said its done, so the transfer has been concluded.

Knowing city, I can guarantee the Ade has been concluded for a long time under the provision he does not join up with the squad before our first game.

Could this other forward JJ is referring to be Hulk??

I would quite like to see a Mid & Forward lineup like this;

_________Ade________
Bale_____________Hulk
________Sig/VDV_____
______Mout__________
_________Sandro_____

i think we can finally rule out 1 Modric replacement...BBC live text reporting that Sahin is close to moving to arsenal on a season long loan with a view to a permanent switch...shame, would've been good...

1457: "I've been handed a bit of Arsenal news. The Gunners are close to completing the loan signing of Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin. The 23-year-old is set to join on a season-long basis with a view to a permanent move."

Oh well, bring on Moutinho! Hopefully that is one of JJs 'couple of surprises'!!

JJ's tweet was about Llorente, without question. Also he specifically uses the word "beanpole" I.e tall and skinny, which Llorente definitely is not, he's built like he proverbial brick shithouse! I would consider Leandro more beanpole than Llorente.

Will get negative ratings for this but the scum will have the best midfield in the league with Sahin, Cazorla, and with Wilshire returning, that's not including Artteta who has been good for them IMO.

I prefer ours if we get Moutinho. Arsenal lack a top DM if Song goes.

Bit weird of Madrid helping Arsenal replace somebody they've sold to Barca.

Have Arsenal signed Sahin or something?
I wrote in the Sahin thread a few days ago. His father basically said if arsenal want him then he will go their as his first choice. Wenger tried to sign him in 2003 as a kid, But instead they signed Fabregas.
