Main difference being that we're selling Luka very reluctantly whereas City can't wait to get shot of Ade. I reckon they would bend over backwards to facilitate his transfer.

Nope, the only difference between the two are the clubs involved and one has a nice smile

All financials have not been finalized on Modric or Adebayor. Since they aren't the buying clubs have no right to them. And we are quite willing to sell Modric. Just looking for our valuation. That's it.

Funny how when we were looking to offer Luka a new deal he was reportedly on £70k+

yet now a two week fine is £80K?

Look, I am grateful for anyone that takes the time to cut and paste relevant stuff in SC. But using that post above as an example which just said "he's not on the plane", all it needed was one word or two i.e.: RE Modric, to qualify it. What that does is tell everyone who it refers to and saves (in some cases) one or two or (in other cases) several extra posts with people (like SS57 did with that post) guessing or explaining who they think it refers to and therefore less crap to sift through. I don't even mind entertaining, off topic spam or off discussion that drifts off topic a bit, but several meaningless posts where people are just trying to figure out what the fuck a piece of tweet refers to is just irritating and really unnecessary when all the original post needs is a couple of words to clarify.

Twitter has a limit of 140 characters so adding a word or two is not always possible.

Posting a single twitter message can be confusing as sometimes there has been an exchange of tweets and the subject has been lost by the last one but all the twitter folllowers are well aware of the context - including the poster.

Think there is nothing for it BC but to join up so you can look at the 'context' where you need to - I have and its easy !

SC doesn't, that's what he's taking about, if you post a tweet, give it some context, don't just plonk it in for people to guess at what it concerns, ive got twitter but i dont want to have to do 15 mins of research just because someone couldnt be arsed to contextualise a post, it's laziness on their part, not mine. People being lazy or assuming some level of previous knowledge is one of the reasons this thread goes all around the houses every time something new happens, if anything, its about being considerate.

So who had the "ITK" recently that Ade had signed the papers and his mate saw him photocopying his passport for us? That bit was brilliant...

The interesting bit from Dragon for me is where he says he is at the team hotel, it does back up his credentials

Dragon has been up with the best for a while. I think it was during the Ramos era that he was the ITK par excellence. It was also when rumours circulated that he was a she.

Which, if anything made me fancy, I mean respect, her/him/it even more.

I always thought he was on 40k a week, pretty sure I've read that figure numerous times before. He was offered double last season but refused to sign.

His sources are amongst the best (or at least were 4-5 years ago). That, however, is a fat lot of good if he can't be bothered to make his posts intelligible and unambiguous. This is the second in succession where it's been necessary to guess at the missing words.

True. They never used to be like this, so I would imagine Dragon is the recent recipient of a shiny bit of kit, a tablet or smart phone that he is still struggling to master. Maybe reveals a bit about his age or techno-phobic nature.

Not that that is in any way relevant, but I never lose a chance to, as Dr Watson might say, come over all Sherlock.

To be fair, the grammar and spelling was shocking but any fluent English speaker should be able to understand what he wrote.

Adebayor doesn't want to go on the USA tour, hence the deal hasn't been concluded yet - but the deal is still going to happen.
Dragon is going to some hotel so ask him any sensible questions and he will try to relay them to his source.

What if he got a career ending injury? We wouldn't want to buy him and there's a pretty good chance Man City's insurers would refuse to pay out.

I'm not saying they would let him play, just that they might be willing to let him hook up with us on tour and wouldn't be concerned at him missing training.
