It would be fantastic to get our core business (CM and ST) done before deadline day but I suspect we'll still be sweating come the last day. Hopefully we can at least manage one though.

I still believe it will only be two, but I am told that there was a very informal discussion about possible availability of one of our opponents yesterday(prior to the game). This doesn't mean he is available, or that we are looking to bid, but someone certainly likes the look of him.

The fact he was the stand out player again won't have hurt either

Looked great so far this season and quietly impressive on the back end of last.

Not a hard one to guess then. Looked impressive on the counter, he's underrated as far as his defensive game is concerned, he really offers them a lot.

3? I just can't see it myself knowing what Levy is like. I reckon we'll definitely get a striker and that'll be it.

I have liked him since he joined Leicester last January and gradually is getting better and better and works so hard. Would be amazing to get him. Good technically also. That has cheered me up abit if we are looking at it anyway.

No it doesn't sound like he is haggling as usual. It sounds like he is doing his job and trying to come to an agreement. We are talking about millions of pounds here ffs, I wish people would actually think about the figures we are talking about. You wouldn't pay £400000 for a house you thought was worth £300000 unless you are an idiot, it's the same with football transfers.

OR unless not paying 400k would leave you homeless because the next opportunity to buy a house will only come around in 6 months time & at that time there's no guarantee that even a 300k house would be on the market

If he'd been on our team yesterday it would have been 0-3 and we'd have avoided today's widespread collection of tedious tantrums.

I spoke with a Leicester fan in the pub after the game (ST holder, did 35 of their league games last season, knows his stuff) who said we made a reasonably strong statement of interest early this summer. He didn't think it went as far as a bid, but we've certainly sounded them out.

Pitty we didn't make a move for him before the start of the season. I am no scout but could tell at the end of last season he was gonna get better. Posted about it numerous times. Good job we have our own scouts earning millions and finding gems like berahino and vw. And tbf only having 2 strikers ( providing sb signs) still isn't enough when you could get 1 injury even a small hamstring problem and the other guy has to play every minute of every game for 4/6 weeks.
