Is Thomas Muller likely to be attracted to WHL? Or would Chelsea or City be more realistic destinations for him? Any move away from the bench would be good for him I guess but surely he's Champions League calibre.

Chelsea seem to be more interested in Schuerlle but I would expect some interest if he is available. City no clue but he's a class player so they would have to be interested.

Freund could play a part here selling the club to him. Think he's attainable as he wants more first team football.

Bale----Ade----Mueller

Not bad.

I would expect some interest from Chelsea if we show interest. The bastards!

With the Walcott rumours gathering steam I've a feeling that Arsenal might go in strong for him. They're going to need a marquee signing to offset the doom mongers and Muller would suit them perfectly (Chamberlain's long term future will be through the middle I think).

That said he'd a great signing for us too. I wouldn't have thought he'd be too interested in us without CL, but if we're still flirting with him at this point then I can only imagine it's because we've received some indication that we have at least a chance.

And they have been linked with him today. I said that to Spurvert he said we'll have something to say about that.

Please no, i've never seen anything in him. I honestly don't see him fitting in our good football mentality. Sorry.

which probably means he aint that good

He's quality. He has Ribery and Robben infront of him out wide and Heynckes loves Kroos who plays in the middle. Unfortunately this leaves no space for Mueller. Granted, though, he didn't have the best of seasons last year. But his class is never in doubt.

“Anyone who knows me knows that Bayern are my club. I am not the type of person who is willing to sit out his contract if the situation at the club is unsatisfactory, but I have absolutely no intention to leave at the moment. I'm a Bayern player through and through, and this will not change,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

Reading between the lines, surely anyone can see that what he is really saying is "I've always wanted to play for Mr Villas-Boas, Mr Levy made me feel very wanted, and this UnderArmour training wear is so comfy..."

He was touted to liverpool not long ago but this is realistic as he is likely to leave, thing is, he cant afford to be second fiddle to Shaqiri, Robben, Ribery and Kroos for the wings or Gomez, Pizarro and Mandzukic

As he will be behind the like of Reus, Goetze, Draxler, Holtby, Shurrle, Kroos, Ozil, Marin, Lietner, Herrmann and Podolski in the national team for a spot in the 3, I would think he would want to be a striker eventually

That is obscene depth for the national team - and every player bar Podolski is under 25 or so.

I think it's almost a definate he'll leave. Isn't Gustavo currently ahead of him at the moment too... add him to the BM list and it's starting to look like a career killer to stay - especially when the world cup is just around the corner. He'd be awesome for us, almost the perfect fit, anyone who says otherwise has a touch of the loony about them. He's and intelligent mover, has the right amount of aggression, trains the house down and regularly scores goals. He's also young and plays in the precise position we need strengthening in. No idea what the fee will be but it would be stupid for us not to seriously consider him

I read quotes recently and he said he isn't leaving.

There is certainly competition for places at Bayern now though.
