Did people know that if you sell your seat this season, you don't get the cash but just get it deducted from next year's renewal? Yeah, really.

I am not sure what to think of this, I am 90% sure I will renew next season but not set in stone and can't help thinking it is the club being a bit too complacent with loyalty again. Plus, it only works out as a little over a score, but could do with the cash.

I assume it will be practically different from last year as they can't get you to send in the voucher but surely they can just credit your account as soon as the ticket has been sold, which mine has for Wolves already.

Probably just being a tight student.

Yeah, I'm struggling for cash at the moment and could have done with my money for my City and Villa games I've sold.

This wasn't originally what was planned though, when I sold my City ticket they still hadn't determined what would happen with sold tickets it seems as in my email to say my ticket has sold it told me to keep checking the ticket office today section to claim my money back. On selling my Villa ticket it said it will be deducted from next seasons renewal.

Emails stored safely so I don't get screwed over next season.....

I still cannot fucking believe that my seat is costing £56 for the FC Twente game, damn fucking Arsenal Carling Cup game uses up the second cup game on the ST.

Surely if you decide not to renew next season they are obliged to give you the money back then? - otherwise that is really dodgy on the club's part.

Yeah, amen SB. A small part of me died at the £56. Thankfully it wasn't my mouse-clicky finger, which promptly reserved my seat.

Means the clubs profits will look better this year.

Actually would have no impact on profits, as they would reduce revenue and profits by the same amount irrespective of whether they used last year's methods or this years methods.

Will improve cashflow though, as they won't have to pay out cash when people submit vouchers, only deduct it from next season's cash in.

Bizarrely, however, the club will actually be worse off because of this as not all people who sold their tickets back through ticket exchange submitted the voucher and therefore did not get the cash back.

This method, those who renew will get money off next seasons season ticket, those that don't will get cash (*I have assumed the last bit however).

Nope. To reserve my season ticket seat (block 28, row 2) was £56. Nice.

You moany old ****. £56 to see Spurs live in the Champions League. That to me is worth more my right testicle and I'm chuffed to pay only £56 to see us in the Champions League proper.

Ten years ago I'd have given up beer and prostitutes to see us play Champions League at home.

Yeah i'd be happy enough to even have the chance to buy a ticket.

But no. I'll have to wait until they go to non season-ticket holders when the site will crash, bumping me out of the queue and when I get in they'll all be gone.

Have to admit I'm surprised at having to pay that much, didn't we win 1800345 squillion squid by beating Man City away last season?

Oh, hang on, the club will need to refill the depleted coffers following the Transfer Window spending spree to support our Champs Lge ambitions. At least we won't need to worry about injuries with all that world class new talent raring to go.

Hehe. Although to put in perspective, the timing was more like:

"Fuck fifty six quid" ... *click mouse button to buy*

The three dots representing about a second at most.

I think £56 is the standard price for an East stand ticket. I'm sure i've seen it at £50-something before. So they aren't ramping up the price.

But its funny how Ars*nal have to advertise their tickets cheap in the Metro to fill their stadium. Nowadays its almost impossible to get a ticket to even the relegation candidates at WHL.
