Times saying we bid for him but he is likely to go to Liverpool. 6 million and 25k a week. Looks talented but never amazed me when I have seen him

Let him go back to the swamp.... horribly over rated.

..... cheap-ish wages though.... don't do it Daniel!

Townsend will be a better player than Ince, might even be already. Spend the 6m on someone who can improve our squad right away.

There seems to be a lot of hype around Ince after this season but the way Holloway, set his team up around players most definitely made him look good but if you take him out of that system will he thrive as much. For U21's Townsend looked better and looked like he knew what he was doing whereas I felt with Ince, it was a case of lets hope for the best but this did help him go on a insanely good run which he then squandered

Get him signed, looks like he could be a player. Quick strong, scores goals and young. Perfect for us.

This is a thread I'll be looking to dig out in a years time. Townsend lol!

If Ince is tearing up the Premier League in a year's time I will be the first to admit I'm wrong. I just think it's more likely he'll be another young English player who disappoints at Anfield.

Rather stick with Townsend he cost alot less and has outperformed him for U21's
Agreed, but a decent young player none the less. Also, the way Townsend is playing currently who's saying he wont be a starter next season, in which case we would still need wing back up.

Could do with both coming into the squad and Dempsey departing.
I rather spend some money on a striker/wing forward like schurrle and Im happy even if we dont get in a new striker though I owuld try for Higuain, as he is gettable if Jose leaves. With that I would be happy and even Falque has been Almeria best player by a mile he was getting alot abuse by opposing fans for doing so well, though I suspect he will be loaned out to Almeria next season in La Liga tbh.

His dad said he is worth 25 million today :ROFLMAO:

If anyone pay more than 6 million for the lad they are being ripped off.

Well if Zaha was sold for £15 million then Ince should cost £25 million at least, if you subscribe to that insane logic.

Townsend has always outshined him when I've seen them on the pitch together for the U21s. Ince looks utterly clueless half the time in the final third. It's usually when he gets to the point where he can't run past people anymore (because he's about to run out of play) and he's all out of ideas.

Hell, I thought Adam Smith looked more a threat and useful in the attacking half than him.

So many better players than him around, hope we don't waste a fair chunk of money on him.

Are the two mutually exclusive?

Could they not both act as rotation with Lennon? (I assume Townsend could play both wings, I dunno much about Ince)

Liverpool let him go, didn't they? But I thought he wanted to go back. I like Townsend, Carroll and our other youth players. Give them a go and save the money for a striker with workrate, passion and who knows where the goal is.
