The most consistent team is Spurs.
We aint losing and are 14 unbeaten.
Yet we are 5th! Consistency is over stated. Consistency without positive results wont necessarily win anything. If we were inconsistent by winning every other one of those games we have drawn so far, we would be on top of the league!

Agreed let's see after the next 4 games, I suspect things will look a little different.
They lost against Arsenal and we didn't.

Mahrez and Vardy are on track to get 60 goals between them. That is possible but you'd expect them to regress much closer to the mean.

We very much want a striker in January.

The thing is Trix, it's very hard to find a striker who's going to be hungry and motivated knowing he's going to come in and play second fiddle to Harry Kane. Unless of course he's a big enough character to back himself to push Kane out the side.

We desperately need one like we did in the summer, but I think it's going to be very hard to get one. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't manage to get one in. Although I would be willing just to get another striking body in regardless.

Unless we get one that can play more than one position such as berahino and werner.

4 points off 2nd but also 4 points off 10th.

We can and need to get a run of wins together to put us in a great position by ny.

Luckily the love-fest with Klopp can't be dimmed by any dose of reality...'pool's odds of finishing top 4 are still well above ours. Poor old Leicester get no respect, they are 7/2 to even finish in the top 4! (us 6/5, Klopps bin dippers 4/5). So we continue to be rank outsiders regardless.

All this blathering about Klopp, who after all has just got his squad to operate at more or less the level they should be, given their cost, is annoying. If some manger deserves OTT praise surely it's Ranieri.

This is the difference in mentality between us and footballers, they back themselves to be the main man, look at Rose, signed a new deal as soon as we signed Davies and we all laughed and yet we all prefer him over Davies now.

Agree. Its all really open.
I feel we'll get a very good idea of where we'll finish after xmas. We should, could and need to win 3 of 4 of our next games imo but given the way every team keeps fkin up its very hard to say.
At the end of the day we're still way more entertaining than under AVB and better than last season so I'm happy to see how we fare without getting my panties in a bunch after we don't win a game.

The Leicester/Chelsea game next Monday night is an interesting one!

If Chavs managed to win at least Leicester are slowed down a bit, but if they manage to beat Chelsea it would be hilarious - Chelsea would literally be in real danger of being embroiled in a relegation battle.

A draw would probably be ideal, but won't be as funny.

One of those games were all outcomes carry positives.

Would it be worth making a cheeky enquiry for Ings?

No. They still have to go to tribunal to see how much they have to pay for him as we bid £12m. Don't think they will be likely to do a deal.

It's a joke that tribunal hasn't happened yet. How can he be allowed to play games for a club when his old club still haven't been paid a fee for him. Something definitely isn't right there.
