With kids you just never know what will become of them so I hope we're not losing the next Messi. Given what he's done so far I'm not that worried as didn't make it in the second tier in Scotland then went on loan to Colchester and hardly got a game. If he goes good luck to him but I have a hunch he's realised he won't get anywhere near the first team so looking to move on, probably for the best, doubt we were desperate to keep him.

Agree about not knowing. Just look at how quickly Kane and Bale went from 'maybe maybe not' to 'OMG wtf happened?'
Didn't used to like comparrisons to Bale but Kane has shown its not a one off.
Lamela as well. While not at same level as those 2 he has improved big time but it took quite a while.
Lets not be hasty is what we're saying.
Where's Kyle WalkerPeters?
He does look promising imo.

I hope there's more to it than the story suggests. He may be after more money but he may also be impatient to play more first team football. That doesn't make as 'exciting' a story as "greedy young player wants more money"

He has looked promising, reminds me a lot of Zaha in his play.

Hope he stays, but if he doesn't want to, then let him go.
