He would be the ideal signing for us assuming the legal stuff is not a problem (which seems to be inferred).

I also like Neves and Phillips as potential CM targets. I think we need a 4th player capable of playing in the pivot to go along with Bentancur, PEH and Skipp. Any of those 3 would be quality and very low risk.

We have tracked him for a long time and with one year left he could be a ridiculously good value signing when you consider he is PL proven.

He really stood out in our two home games against them.

Have to assume that the due diligence on this one would be extremely detailed, in which case it would be a brilliant signing.

Probably the best central midfielder we could get given his experience in league and the way he is able to dominate games in a midfield two.

Yes, yes, 100% yes.

I was a bit shocked when Brighton first bought him because he was so so good at Lille. One of my favourite Ligue 1 players at the time.

Yes, but it's proven that the transition from that league can be too much of a jump for some. Wonder if that played a part.

But he's proved he is a powerhouse cm. No brainer if it is all possible. As above.

Dont shout at me, but I think you mean 'implied' not 'inferred' ;)

My number one choice for midfield but I've a feeling we aren't going to go for him.
