It's put us in position to compete with the best but at a cost of pricing so many of us out of the game. It's bittersweet, and not really one I'll be celebrating.

True, but the alternative, thanks to Abramovic, Mansoor etc. is to cheat. I remember years ago Roy Keane going off about the Fortnum & Masons hamper brigade destroying the atmosphere at Old Trafford when the real fans were priced out. It's nothing new.

We’re the best club in the world for over priced tickets and people still knock Levy.
Overpriced is relative to what value you place on them, and the price the market is willing to bear. Simple supply and demand.

Maybe 'pricing out' would be more accurate? But with good performances and wins, grumblings about prices will be from the P&G kool-aid drinkers.

I wonder how much, if any, of this is down to Ange's style of football.
Very little, the revenue is for the last financial year (22/23) so covers the period before Ange joined. We'll see any potential benefit of Ange's style of football in next years cycle. Plus this is gate revenue rather than income generated by the stadium (would think we'll be even higher on that side)

It was a light hearted remark
