If our lads are confident and there are no negative thoughts such as potential banana skin(like some our stupid fans) in their mind then I think we'll be alright.

Villa are absolute shite-losing to them should be unacceptable.

yep, I "sense" goals from Kane and Alli with a 2-0 win minimum.... but a Bournemouth style thrashing is on the cards IMO...

so let's say 4-0 with 2 from Kane, 1 from Alli, and 1 from Toby (a headed goal from a corner)... 3 assists from Eriksen as well ;):jimlad::singing:

Y NOT?!... COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hungry::singing:

Just looking at April 2015 when we lost to Villa at home...

Villa XI - Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Richardson, Cleverley, Sanchez, Delph, Agbonlohr, Grealish, Benteke
Spurs XI - Vorm, Dier, Chiriches, Fazio, Rose, Mason, Bentaleb, Townsend, Chadli, Eriksen, Kane

Villa have lost 4 good players. Spurs ditched 1 from that XI and another 5 or 6 are not a regular anymore...

Villa don't concede heaps of goals liek Bournemouth. So, am hoping for a conservative 2-0 win minimum.

well, no "sherwood factor" no benteke and no vlaar... that's just for starters this time...

Spurs back 4 is sorted and solid now. and then there's Alli, IMO this is a game he is likely to "light up" his opponents. here's to thrashing villa tonight!! COYS :singing:

Looks like they'll announce new manager Garde today but he'll watch from the stands. That's about the best that we could have hoped for. He won't be in charge but as he'll be watching they won't get the 'carefree' attitude that teams sometimes get when old manager leaves.

They will probably want to look good individually but won't be so bothered by the result

Thats it guys, get those expectations raised…..Minimum 4-0 win, fuckitt, make that 5-0. Yeah a 5-0 win full of dragbacks, nutmegs, fast flowing one touch football with chances galore and at least three 10 minute passages of play where we all chant 'ole!'

And if/when it doesn't happen dont forget to have your scapegoat of choice marked out good and early wether it be Walker, Lamela or Chadli, Poch's team selection, Poch's substutions, the timing of his subs or even the make up of the bench. Oh and if you could see your way clear to fitting in a dig at Levy it'd be appreciated.

Also, don't forget to take insurance out on the cat, dog, wifes chuff, husbands nads or your todger gripping fingers in case of 'accidental' damage :D

Woke up in a really confident mood in regards todays game, that inevitably means that we will struggle.

Every time I have positive expectations we fuck it up.

If we could remember that there arent that many easy games throughout a season before certain culprits start having meltdowns when we arent coasting after 20 minutes, that would be great.

Stupid ? So we are stupid to think that although we are favorites to win (and should ) we could easily throw away two or three points like we often do? Especially when other results have gone in our favor and we have failed to capitalize? You really know Spurs don't you - Stupid

Chadli is injured mate:p
Although I concede he could still get some flak for just being Chadli, so spursey.

The tactic will be to sit deep and do what they can on a counter

Breaking down teams is not our strength
Could be a tight game

Any news on the squad? Any injuries come back? This is going to be a busy week.

I think we'll win 2-0. They'll park the bus, we'll toil and the crowd will get twitchy but it should be a fairly routine win.

We are spurs there are no such things as routine wins. We got beat by anderlecht the other week.

If we can get 3 points, i'll be happy.
