What I will say is 3 of our best players (our spine) are not on the pitch: Toby, Dembele & Kane.

Says it all.
Kane's remarkable scoring record has made us seem more penetrating than we really are.
Dembele's freakish ability to retain possession under pressure papers over our lack of fluidity.
And Toby's towering presence turns a good defence into a superb defence.
Could any team in the world still perform at their top level without their three best players?
