Could be that he’s fine with his support group and familiar coaches around him, but won’t cope with going away to afcon.
Exactly what KC has just said and I totally agree.
With my mental health, I'm fine in familiar surroundings but outside of those, there's every chance I'd fall apart.
Even just going to the next town on my own can be a struggle, let alone another continent.

If we do get a decent lead Porro needs a break. The guy has started every league game from gameweek 2

Totally agree, been in that situation myself. Maybe out of respect for SA fans/team mates he could step away from playing for Burnley too

Wrighty spitting facts. Probably the only former arsenal player I could have a beer with

Unpopular opinion alert but I think some of them are alright. Wright and Parlour come across as decent guys. Adams and Wenger have always struck me as being smart and articulate. I can’t say the same for many of the current lot though.

Weird to have so many ex Arsenal men for our game though.

Merson is by all accounts a decent guy who's fought his demons and come out on top. Alan Smith is pretty balanced too.

Looks like a packed Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It wasn't that long that this kind of fixture had a quite a few missing seats at WHL.

Maybe, but maybe he still needs the routine and to feel a part of something?
We all suffer differently and he's got to put himself first.
Sitting on his own at home, watching his team mates play an fa cup game may be even worse for him.
