I wonder if Sig staying on for the whole game and Holtby being subbed has any bearing on Sunday. How much longer will Lennon be out?

He's one of my favourite players to watch on the ball but Dembele is quickly becoming the most expendable player from our presumed 'midfield 3'. He has the attributes to be our best player but he is way too ineffectual with the ball. I love him and he will definitely play a part this season but I don't think he's a given starter anymore.

I still think he will be - providing this injury problem of his isn't restricting him too much and the way we are setting up should be encouraging him to do so. The guy has insane levels of talent.

I do agree, he needs to up his game and start grabbing games by the balls. AVB has to encourage him more to get forward and approach the box more aggressively. The guy has it in his locker, his strength combined with his technical ability is right up there as the best in the League.

I mean the game he had at OT for Fulham a week before we bought him was incredible. I just hope this injury problem isn't going to affect him for the long term.

That's precisely the problem. He said in an interview IIRC last season that shooting doesn't come naturally to him, he has to consciously make the decision but he's trying. He might of said the same about picking a pass.

If he could sort out his decision making and play with confidence; he'd be one of the league's best players.

Such a headache with who to select given the amount of talent we have.

I'd 100% sell Lennon and Siggy - Bring in a young player for LWF cover.

Lennon is behind Lamela and Townsend for RWF position.

I would sell Lennon now (his pace will start to decline soon) but think we should hold off from getting a LWF just yet and use Sigg as competition to see what Chadli can do first. Then maybe in Jan or next summer start looking at LWF, as we may view Chadli as the cover and want a first teamer.

I wish we had signed Bernard for LWF instead of Chadli though. Bernard and Eriksen would have cost less than Chadli and Willian.

Tony Pulis' punditry style kind of reminds me of David Blunkett lol. But I have liked the things he's been saying
