Under AVB we were turgid and sterile

Under TS we play a fairly simple schoolboy type game. I have hardly seen a first half worth watching this season especially at home (will Danny give me half my money back ?). Good teams are / will be out of sight before we get our act together

TS does not need to know players that well to get them working hard as a unit and playing for each other

Just because you have a Sandro poster on your bedroom wall doesn't mean that Sherwood should pick him. He has picked a winning team again, and had we lost or drawn you would have had a valid argument. Hate the fucking manager all you want but make some sense by stating that fact from the off. You would have more credibility for your posts.

The Ade i am referring to was the one (not unlike Kane) that has been selected to play for the starting eleven based solely on their effort and performances, and not based on some karate kicking YouTube video.

But today's game was a great example why Sandro should have been on the bench.

At 3-1 we should have hooked a striker (strangely enough Ade) and bought on a defensive midfielder just to close the game out.
Sherwood's substitutions were truly baffling in terms of getting/keeping a result and I worry that he is simply cutting off his nose to spite his face.
I never thought I'd have a problem with being able to bring on Soldado, Dembele, and Townsend off the bench but they were not what was required at the time.

Yes he won the game but Lloris was almost MoM against a team fighting to stay up at home. If they'd have had half decent strikers then we'd have been put to the sword just like Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City did to us. It really isn't hard to see how many chances we're gifting to the opposition. Palace was another example, it should have been over at half time. Lloris, Eriksen & occasionally Adebayor are papering over the cracks with individual brilliance.

You cannot simply be consistent enough over a league campaign and compete with teams around our level with a shambolic defence.
