Tough February - Expectations?

Yeah this month is crucial.

All I know is we can't afford to lose to both Arsenal and Liverpool.

We do better against sides that come out and play against us though. If we can defend well in these games there's no reason why we can't pick up points.

Night games at Anfield are very tough though, the atmosphere will be up big time and we'll need to really defend well in that one to get anything.

But I'd love to wipe that smug look of Rodger's face.

Hope we take a minimum of four points from those three games, but hoping for more obviously.

We've got a weeks rest and an extra day over Arsenal. Win at home

Liverpool have a cup replay then play Everton on Sat tea-time (we play lunch time). Draw away.

Over a weeks rest till first leg of Europa tie. Home win put tie to bed.

West Spam - we just really really need a home win after last season

Fiorentina Away. Play out a draw as it was won in first leg.

Then it's Wemb-eR-ley!!

Think pool will be tough though; they have a home advantage, they have the mental advantage over us, the way they play doesn't suit our centre backs. Can't see past a defeat in that one.
We'lall do the stammers and Fiorentina's particularly as they have just quadrado.

Chelsea are beatable as we already proved, I reckon we have a decent chance of winning the cup.

At least we will know early in March what the season holds for us. Could be a defining month, similar to April in our 09/10 campaign. Nothing to fear against Arsenal and Pool or Spam and we love the Italian teams!

I think we'll do well. We have picked up plenty of points against our main rivals this season including Man Utd, Arsenal, West Ham, Everton, Southampton and Chelsea. In fact in some ways we have more reasons to feel confident going into this run than we would if we were facing Stoke, Crystal Palace and West Brom at home. The Liverpool game earlier this season stands out as a disappointing performance but I am think we will do much better this time - our best team is vastly improved compared to the start of the season and we have important players back or coming back like Bentaleb, Chadli and Mason. Fiorentina is hard to call as I don't know much about them but losing their best player is bound to damage them.
