We could have paid out 27m for him, we were interested. But thats not the issue. The issue is getting into an auction with city over wages, where we would never win. Even the price, if your bidding against city, youre wasting time and will eventually either be out bid or end up paying way over the odds. Who else would have signed him but never bothered because they'd rather not waste time and pusrue a target that is achievable...what do you think of Suarez?
