Im sure I saw ade turn and pass the ball from edge 18yd box to rose on left to run onto and score in the game at training ground v Southend...

All joking aside - as said above that was young Nathan Oduwa who set up two and scored one in the game

Ade hasn't been near the squad and by all accounts if he is not sold will be excluded from the squad and not even given a number.

Hopefully we can shift him

Who cares about ade. I'm gutted it worked out like this but he's a big boy now and he made his decisions. You can't build team spirit when a couple of players get away with being dicks. Spurs want to be a club that won't tolerate poor behaviour so he's out. Don't blame poch for that there's a bigger picture here. Let sherwood destroy his team's morale instead.
A person who needs his ego stroked continuously, every day, every minute, is not a professional, but a immature kid. Spurs is not a psych clinic but a football club. Let him go to Sherwood instead.

Villa had just gotten another £8M from the sale of Delph. They could definitely pay Ade's wages for the next 12 months.

I could see a situation like we had at City where they loan him from us and we have to pay some of his wages

Although hopefully now they're likely to be a bit flush from the two big sales they may be held to ransom by Levy and pay the full wage for the year

It would be a smart move by them to take him on loan because he'd play out of his skin to earn a contract I'm sure

There's a shock, an issue with wages potentially stopping him moving, I'm sure no one saw that coming. Exactly the same situation we find ourselves in as Citeh a few years ago.
If I was DL I'd subsidise a loan move and try to save £30k a week, the saving could at least go to a couple of the younger lads who appear to give a hoot.

Cantona, Ronaldo, Zidane, etc: sometimes the team needs to know their job is to support the best player. Ade is arguably our best player... on his day.
When is the penny going to drop with you that Ade does not give a toss about anything but the money. We all know he can play and be one of the best on his day but those days are few and far between. He has lost interest at every club he has been at. Not Levy's finest hour signing this enigmatic tosspot, but we are stuck with him now, unless he/we can persuade someone else to take him on and pay him handsomely for doing so.

Provided they pay his wages in full (or nearly in full.)

I don't entirely disagree with this. It just irks me that we have a very good striker rotting away, under a manager who relentlessly plays 451. Imagine Kane and Ade together - fearsome. I'm not talking about the realms of sci-fi. In Sherwood we had a manager derided for his man-management who got a player like Ade playing to his potential. To me, it seems that managers should be judged by their impact on the best players - not on some wishy washy notion of team spirit.

That said, I have a sneaky suspicion Ade will stay and we'll see a lot more of him next year under Poch.

I think Sherwood was like marmite some players played well but others hated him, Poch is a very good manager he just needs time, I hope Ade goes villa then we will know how good Sherwood really is.

With selling Benteke for £32m and Delph £8m it is possible Villa might sanction paying Ade's wages on a 2 year deal if the transfer fee is cheap.

This or a move to Russia/USA/China is about our only hope of offloading him.
