A very consistent player over his first two seasons but seemed to loose his way last season and dropped down the pecking order.

Hope we have definite backups. I for one will miss him. After Lamela he was the best of the 5 bought in to replace Bale. Pitched in with some good goals. Wish him well. Hope we have enough depth to succeed without.

With us selling Chadli and maybe Mason i really hope Levy and co will something before deadline. We do have alot of games to play after two weeks and so far the players have not really played that well.

A great player for 2 seasons, but last season seemed to loose his way. Bought with the Bale funds so feel He was not a Poch type player. I will always remember him scoring cracking goals for us and wish him well. I am sure the Baggies fans will take to him.

He was a bargain and has outshone most others who were bought for much more

I'm not surprised as I never thought he'd quite hit the heights but we better have some people lined up who can replace what he did

Gets way too much stick for me

Very sad to see him go. Hope he does well at WBA. Was a quality squad player for us and think he's leaving is a big loss.

He will do well there I think. With Georges-kevin (hopefully) coming in and either eriksen or dele already playing on the left we wasn't gonna get many games.

IMO I'm looking forward to this window shutting!

Guess we gotta pray GKN comes good off the bat. He's only 21, of course, but since we're talking about him taking Chadli's place – he averages 1 goal every 8.9 games and 1 assist every 16.5 games so far. Chadli, for comparison, averages 1 goal per 3.9 games and 1 assist every 8.5 games.

Because of his age I'd assumed GKN was one for the future not an immediate answer to anything. He's only played 3 pro seasons, signed for £1m just a year ago, 6 goals and 3 assists in 34 games later he's going for £11m. Has a huge whiff of N'jie Mk II, but fingers crossed

Whilst we are concerned with 'moving' players on due to our involvement in the Champions League, Pochettino and his staff are most likely looking to have a squad of 23 to ensure ALL are fit, in form and most importantly in tune with the style of play expected of them. A squad too large results in individuals not getting enough game time - and subsequently chasing minutes Spurs won't have the luxury of giving out.

Below is a squad of 22 without Chadli - it includes Mason who is the most likely to be sold amongst the squad, meaning realistically Spurs are interested in 1 x addition to make 23 - or the promotion of Winks or Carroll and the selling of Mason and the signing of 1 x player.

That player will most likely be a creative player in the Clinton Njie mould - and perhaps may be a straight swap with cash for the lad from Marsaille. With the above in mind - a greater contribution from Son this year is not unfathomable, therefore perhaps more of a central creative player could be on the cards. I would love to get carried away and hope for Isco, but width is what Spurs have lacked and Isco won't offer that...

Nevertheless Levy will be happy the wage bill has been reduced, but will be pissed if he has to pay more for Zaha than he got for Townsend which suggests this is a last minute decision and not well thought out - otherwise we should have looked for a straight swap.

Should Rose, Davies or Kane get injured this season we could be in trouble...

Lloris
Vorm
Lopez

Anderweirald

Wimmer
Carters-Vickers
Rose
Davies
Walker
Trippier

Dier
Wanyama
Mason
Dembele
Delli

Kane

I personally would have told all at WBA to fuck right off as soon as they tried with a bid. Cheeky bastards.

Interesting point. After all that bad blood with them, we obviously quite wanted the money?

Chadli has a better scoring rate than Berahino too

Nacer was given all the possibilities to succeed under Mauricio but for most of the time his impact was never as expected. Personally I found him very frustrating due to his lack of tracking back. However having said that he popped up with a couple of crackers when needed.
