Who could replace Johnson?
Literally anyone.
Who could replace Johnson?
Gutter but expected. Decided straight away I'm off to Vienna in September. Sometimes you just gotta roll up your sleeves and do your bit.Austria equalise in Dublin, 2-2

Why do some people think that was a bad result for England tonight ?
Stuck £20 on an accumulator and a couple of late winners saw me walk away with £200. Not a bad day.
Even so would anyone really expect that team to be doing the business against Spain, Germany, Argentina etc? As someone stated above it'll be a while before England are threatening to reach the business end of tournaments. That wasnt a full strength England side, imo when everyone is fit, this is the team:
---------------------- Hart
Walker -- Ferdinand -- Cahill -- Cole
----------- Wilshere -- Carrick
Lennon --------- Rooney ----- Walcott
------------------ Welbeck
That team hasnt done the business against anyone except Andorra, San Marino and etc.Even so would anyone really expect that team to be doing the business against Spain, Germany, Argentina etc? Gutted with the Wales result. We played really well and created chances but Croatia showed their class in the 2nd half.
Bale missed a one on one that you would normally expect him to put away and he tired tremendously towards the end (probably still suffering from the after effects of the virus). Hope he's OK for Sunday!
Has anyone with some Championship/Crystal Palace knowledge seen much of Jonathan Williams?
He came on for Bale against Scotland and was outstanding and yesterday he was MoM. Really good little footballer.

I prefer us to be knocked out and not make the WC and get a manager that will play attacking football building for Russia tbh
I agree to a certain extent but also agrees it seems to have to be English and I think Harry would be perfect for England atm, he has a better record with youth than Roy. Also people say this stuff about him not doing well against the big teams but I think they are basing that off performances at the end of our bad run last season. Look at us under him, we beat Arsenal at their ground for the first time in yonks, won at anfield for the first time in yonks and we were inches from beating City the year they won the title. In Europe we beat Inter when we had 11 men the year after they won the CL, We beat AC at the san siro with the likes of Crouch, Palacios, Sandro(just arrived as well), Pienaar and Corluka against arguably the best striker in the world at the time. We also qualified top of a group that our rivals didnt expect us to, that season was the best ride we had been for years. The problem is that I can't see who that manager would be. The whining about having a foreigner in charge has led to the FA being backed into a corner over having an Englishman and being stuck with a very small pool to choose from. Could we go for Harry? He WOULD play attractive attacking football but I think we'd come unstuck against top sides. Who else?
Ferdinand ?
you are having a giraffe, he hasn't played an international for 2 years and has a chronic back problem, don't listen to the media's biased view of him
personally I would have Dawson or Jagielka alongside Cahill, also team looks a bit imbalanced with both Lennon and Walcott, I would play Lennon as the out and out winger and Gerrard instead of Walcott
