When do we find out if we are successful as I need to collect the ticket rather than have this sent

I spoke to my dad about this earlier and he said that as yet he's not anything added to his credit card for our tickets, nor has he got an email to advise either way and although I'm a little doubtful about my loyalty points being enough, I'd have thought he'd be in the higher (450+) bracket so strange that with less than 2 weeks to go fans are still unsure as to if we have a ticket or not.

Has anyone heard anything about confirmation dates yet?

I'm going to call the dicks tomorrow. I've got a ST this year so I'm hoping I should get one but I need to make travel arrangements. I think the club just think that the London away games are no issue for supporters; they forget that people still travel a fair way.

There can be no reason at all why they haven't released the cut-off figure yet. Applications closed on Monday, it will all be automated. They are just being complete knobs!

Iv'e had to book my train over even though I don't know if I have been successful. Poor that they can't let us know sooner.

Same as everyone still waiting and I'm looking forward to it that much I need to know cause I will get a spammer mate to get tickets in their end if Spurs don't come up with any.

One delay could be that our allocation might be going up as I know Spammers have loads spare?
So much for their 54k seater stadium coming soon.

ps their ticket line number is; 0871 529 1966 ha ha.

Surely they just release what they have and then, if more become available, allocate them as they would have done before, giving people 24hrs to refuse? Madness that less than 14 days before the game, nobody knows if they have a ticket.

The next thing that I can see happening is them not getting them out in time...

I agree as above, previously when there has been an increase in allocation the club just send out details to those fans who were declined a ticket offering them the chance of claiming one.

All just seems a bit of a last minute rush and with it being so close, seems a bit of a silly position to be in with it being the first game of the season.

I expect the option of collection from the ticket office on the day of the Shalke game will be available but for those not going or those who planned to go but are unable to attend for whatever reason, will have to rely on postal services, which is a gamble in itself.

Just spoke to ticket office there will be an announcement today, at last!

One of my mates asked at the ticket office at lunch when passing the stadium and was told it will be within the the next 48 hours!

Therefore I've just called the ticket office myself and asked when there will be confirmation and was told 2 to 3 days. I also asked if they can at least advise of the loyalty cut off and I was told no, that was still being determined! :banghead:

I called today and got told there would be an announcement today (yeah right). Gave the guy a bit of an ear bashing about how long it has. His response was that there is still plenty of time to get the tickets out. I mean WTF, do they think that everybody lives within 1 mile of Upton Park so don't need to think how they are going to get there until the morning of the game!?! Typical Spurs imo, fans come last.

I simply do not see why the process needs to take so long. Even if they had somebody manually going through the applications (which I don't think for a minute they do), it wouldn't take a week. I feel like saying cancel my application but wtf would they care. He said it was the same for the first away game last season. Anybody else remember there being such a delay?

I'm guessing the delay is something to do with loyalty points just logged on to my account & the loyalty points section isn't there. Maybe they have left it to the last minute to adjust everyone's loyalty points.

This is what I received from THST yesterday:

"First away is always later as the loyalty points need to be adjusted first. It should be in the next couple of days."

No, wasn't the same last season as my dad and I tried for the CP game and were told not high enough loyalty for me but one available for him if he wanted it but as we wanted to go together, he said no and instead we paid the extra and we booked the WHL tour/ meal/ticket/bus package and if irc, that was about 2 weeks beforehand.

I was told definitely "By the end of today's play" I think she must have been selling cricket test tickets recently?

It is weird as the OS says the article regarding the ticket news was put out at 12:11pm. I've been checking all day and didn't see it??

I checked the OS before calling them at 3pm and didn't see it then either.

Good news though, I've got 365 points so looks like I'll be attending! (y)

I wont be getting any as not a s/t holder, perhaps Spammers could give us another section as they have been advertising the game on Talksport all day?

Spammers always advertise their tickets. Can barely fill their current ground, can't wait to see what the half filled Olympic Stadium will look like! Never forget this from last season. The dildo brothers advertising the other team in order to get their own fans to attend! :ROFLMAO:
