  • Yeah he looks really good.
Spurs had a really good summer.
  • This high line with two sent off is pure madness
  • This high line is beyond insane.
  • Tottenham's keeper would be perfect for us like.
  • I am entertained
  • Fair play to Spurs so far
  • I just love how Spurs insist on playing on the halfway line
  • Ange is crazy! Do respect his massive balls.
  • I'd love know what Ange's plan was
  • Is this really want we want in this sport?
  • Yes
  • Spurs stadium really is something.
  • Spurs with the high press, makes sense
  • This is so so funny, can't wait for all the post match fume
  • Spurs line is so high it's now in Chelsea's half ffs
  • i have never heard Ange speak. But I still have a feeling he takes it just a bit more gracefully than Arteta. Actually, I think trump takes defeat better
  • Spurs had 5 men in the Chelsea box there
  • This is genuinely the best game I've ever seen
  • Spurs fans have been class here
  • its a very unSpurs like character-wise display
Take this effort and character into future games.
We went on a thirteen game winning steak after competing with Derby whilst down to 8men back in the day.
  • it's been incredible
  • Could see Postecoglou turning this into a positive for Tottenham
  • Got to be high on lines to play a line that high
  • Easily the best game ever in the PL era.
  • What in the universal credit did I just watch?
  • That was better than The Wire
  • Ange was really classy there coming onto the pitch, shaking hands with the ref and linesman and leaving it at that, going over to the Chelsea players etc. Classy bloke
  • You can tell already Ange will be infinitely more dignified than Arteta.
  • This interview is as mental as the game was.
Jackson saying spurs are the best fans and club in England
  • Ok, I officially love Postecoglou. The anti-Arteta
  • Postecoglou has got them in a good place mentally. They'll be there or thereabouts
  • Honestly one of the greatest games of football I've ever watched,
  • Really hard not to like Ange. Seems like a really good bloke.
  • don't like him. His surname's too hard to spell.
  • Sky interview with Ange seems like a real dig at Arteta. Love it
  • "We go down to five men mate, we'll have a crack."
    That's great.
  • Brilliant, tbf
  • Not deliberately trying to jump on the Ange bandwagon but I did love his soundbites on reffing from last night
  • Ange makes me not detest Spurs. Conte really had to be the star of the show and an asshole like Arteta
  • This interview is as mental as the game was.
Jackson saying spurs are the best fans and club in England -
What was that all about? Missed that.

Without getting into a massive debate with you as you clearly want to take offence at something but if i used the word yid on here would you consider it a hate term?

Clearly meant as in that they are just a bunch of idiots (am I allowed to say that?) so sorry if i offended you but I think it is pretty clear that altho maybe a poor choice of phrase it wasn't meant literally

It’s clearly not the same. We’re happy for the community to self-police over stuff like this. It’s clear what people find acceptable and what they don’t. If you don’t take the hint from your fellow posters, we’ll step in at some stage.

I'm not sure, only post-match stuff I saw was with Ange.

In the SkySports interview Jackson referred to it/us as ‘an amazing stadium with amazing fans’. He didn’t quite go as far as that Newcastle poster said.

I think it was a slip of the tongue.

It's also great to see that pretty much every group of fans agrees that Artera is a fucking pillock, and it's not just us hating him because he's Arsenal.

Why is everyone saying it was one of the greatest games they’ve ever watched? It was full of drama from VAR but as a showpiece it was terrible and not exactly great football on show.

The drama. I was at the game and I didn't think it was the greatest game I've ever experienced. The support was brilliant which was amazing

I guess for the neutrals yes. I loathed it personally, especially with the three chances from Bentancur, Dier and Son being so close. Argh. Couldn't wait for the whistle to blow.

I completely skip any comments in here posted by Arsenal or Liverpool fans. I actually find everyone else's fans to be fairly level-headed when it comes to us this season.

Monday still sucked, but it might be good to have 2-3 weeks away from the "title race" chat. If it's meant to be then we'll bounce straight back from defeat, if not then I'm happy to be challenging for 4th/5th.

I guess entertainment wise and the fact we had a go with 9. How boring was Liverpool sitting back in the box compared to us on Monday? As neutral it would have been a fun watch I'm sure. I even found it fun in a way and I never thought I'd say that about a 1-4 defeat at home to Chelsea.

A lot of people who didn't watch it (many where I work) see the 1-4 score line and think we were smashed by Chelsea. There were fine margins between 1-4 and 2-2. With 9 men that's incredible. Brilliant for neutrals, pretty fucking stressful/annoying/fun for us fans.

It gives Chelsea and their fans a false sense of quality. They'll get murdered by City (hopefully) and Jackson certainly isn't the messiah.

Had two people in work this morning say they only saw the final score and based it off that. Chelsea didn't impress me at all. Poch has a lot of work to do with that group.

Agreed. Even when they had that 3-4 minute period of being on top, it was only due to one insane mistake from porro and then the ref missing 3-4 clear fouls on our players that allowed chelsea to break and keep the pressure on, then romero did a stupid pass to allow them in leading to the sending off. Before that, bar the luton game, I think it was honest the best 20 minutes of football I've seen from us

I thought I was the only one that saw this, it hasn’t really been mentioned and played its part. Echos of Clattenburg losing control in that 2 2 game.

It was in April 2005 against Aston Villa. Steve Taylor had already been sent off for deliberate handball when Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer (team mates?) had a fight and both were sent off. Jenas was in the Newcastle team managed by Bobby Robson.
