If I had to best describe the colour of the kit i'd say it was 'Marty Mcfly as he's briefing his dad to hit him for coming onto his mum' shirt colour

I DO know that Matty Cash is a soppy little soft cock who likes trying to physically injure players on purpose but, honestly, couldn't tell you anything else about him other than he looks like someone photocopied a picture of Jack Grealish too many times and deep fried it. But that's about it really.

You mean you don't know that he's having an affair with a nonagenarian Polish woman that was discovered by her family when his boot fell off while he was hiding up a chimney, but that he got away with it by dint of pretending he was filming a commercial for a Polish car insurance company (despite speaking Polish with all the finesse you'd expect from someone who grew up monolingual in Buckinghamshire).

You really need to do more research.

People need to **** off with this "fat Ange" crap already.
I don’t mind if they’re mildly creative. Since yesterday I’ve trawled through a couple of fan forums and I’ve seen Ange be called a ‘fat wombat’ which is pretty funny but my favourite has been someone describing Haaland as a ‘Nordic goal Yeti’

City players and fans losing the plot over a 'screwed the pooch' ref call on the halfway line, where the moderately-paced Grealish surrounded by three of our players, was still 35 yards away from goal is something to behold. I can't believe that was the 'headline' coming out of this game. Of all the BS VAR calls this season and ref cocks ups, that was what the likes of Pep, pundits, media, and Haaland-the-Crazy were losing their collective shit over? Jesus bloody wept. Can you imagine if the call had been from twenty yards out, and Grealish was actually just inside the 18 yards box? Given Haaland's unintentional impression of Doc Brown after 10,000 kilowatts of electricity went through him, I'd imagine in that other scenario he would have torn his hair out and his eyeballs would have exploded.

Red Cafe
Pre City Match
  • A few losses and the knives come out.
  • Why is he all of a sudden being criticized? When he had his full squad available, they were unbeaten, playing arguably the best football in Europe.
  • Well well well. Apparently having players injured affects even the "best PL manager".
  • It's almost as if injuries drastically affect your team's ability to run football games.
  • Anges losses weren't exactly through Spurs playing badly.
  • I’d say every manager in the league can play attacking football if they don’t care about leaving themselves wide open at the back. The footballing world has already had this conversation with Leeds and Biesla.
  • Remains to be seen if this guy's just a one trick pony or if he has other aces up his sleeve now that things have gotten a bit tougher.
  • looks like other teams have just learnt a bit better how to counter their tactics whereas earlier in the season their playing style still caught opponents by surprise
  • I don't see them finishing top 4 this season, but 5-7 is where I'd rank them.
  • Play like this and City will take you to cleaners. Pep is just waiting for someone to press them that high. Even Klopp don't do it these days. Will be a fun watch.
  • City and Newcastle are probably losses. Its going to be interesting to see what he chooses to do against City
  • Extra special new manager bounce, plus massive luck (like the stonewall handball penalty against us with two extremely lucky goals). We are returning to our regular programming now, sports fans.
    Lads, it's Spuds.
  • Hope they get flattened by City
  • A lot of insecurity being shown in this thread
Post City game
  • I love Spur’s fat Aussie over our Baldie any day.
  • Now divided on this guy. On the one hand he's got his team playing wriggly fear, on the other he was lucky not to concede 8.
City hit the post, the crossbar, Haaland missed a sitter and that weird call at the end.
I mean, it’s City at the Etihad, they are going to create, it’s just what they do.
Thought that was an admirable performance considering the circumstances, struggled a bit first half, but thought they played better 2nd.
I always try to think if that was my team would I be content with that performance and result, and I would have with what I seen.
  • Is he still a fraud or is he the messiah again? It's hard to keep up with RedCafe trends.
  • He’s a very naughty boy
  • The bottom line is they rode their luck just like past Spurs managers have done against City, just in a different way.
It's hard to believe they've been consistently lucky over multiple seasons and different managers.
  • Literal bogey team
  • I am amazed with Spurs going toe to toe with City. That's what a good manager can do. Hopefully it is not an Ole effect and he continues to entertain. How on earth does Spurs do it? Can we hire Levy to United? Signing cheap players and selling them to exorbitant fee and hiring unknown great manager. Even though Spurs' fan knows they aren't going to great this season, they are likely happier and celebrating success more than United
  • A lot of Spurs fans were tired of Levy just a few months ago. Shows how quickly things can change in football. Also let's not forget Spurs have gotten one point from their last 4 games now.
  • He carries some incredible luck at times that’s for sure. Again benefiting massively from another refereeing blunder yesterday
  • He deserves praise for his approach and sticking to what he believes will bring results in the long-term.
  • Ange so far is basically Bielsa with better players
  • He's 14 games in, you want to see an evolution of play before he's even had enough time to instil a base approach. What were Pep and Klopp doing in their first season? I don't recall them swaying from their principles and setting up differently depending on the opposition. He's 14 games in, you want to see an evolution of play before he's even had enough time to instil a base approach. • Ange is doing well, and I expect him to adapt to the Premier League too. Which will make Spurs a title contender to City, along with Liverpool and Arsenal.

  • Spurs 1-0
  • A rat but some player, jeez that turn of pace.
  • Son buried that one!
  • Gonna be a cracker this City-Spurs game innit?
  • Have Son in my fantasy team. Whole range of emotions in 90 seconds
  • That Bryan for spurs looks like he rides around Knotty Ash on a pushbike selling £10 bags of weed
  • It's Christmas come early guys , this is a cracker
  • May be worth noting that Spurs have the best away record in the league this season heading into this game..
  • Brennan Johnson is a class little player. Another one we could & probably should have brought in when we were linked two summers ago
  • All conquering I'm a hipster ball a distant memory now.
  • I'm a hipster ball losing to the current best team in the world, but sky bleat on about spurs
  • What is it with North London clubs and going down easily
  • 2-2
  • city you muppets
  • I wish we had a player who could shoot from outside the area
  • Spurs seem to have their number in recent seasons.
  • don’t fall apart city
  • spurs will sit off
  • Get in jack!!!
  • 3-2!!!!
  • woooooooioiip
  • Grealish did a Maradona there
  • Richy on to be the last minute hero…
  • 3-3
  • utter uttef joke
  • 3-3! Another crazy match…
  • What a mad game
  • OMG the refs just killed this game
  • ref is a RED
  • That is mad.
  • a bunch of dildo's!
  • corrupt
  • sky and all the bums loving it
    dirty RS filth
  • Brilliant result for the reds that
  • Tell me with a straight face this league isn't fixed
  • That would've been bad refereeing if he just didn't play advantage but he actually did and then blew the whistle when Haaland played him in. That's unbelievable.
  • League is corrupt. Honestly footy is just crap nowadays
  • Can only assume the VAR told him to stop play.
  • worst referring decision I've seenworst referring decision I've seen
  • that decision, wow.
  • When you realise who the ref is, it really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone
  • the kind of mistake that should see him sacked from prem games next weekend.
Either that or the game is bent.
  • Referees do not get enough abuse
  • 1000000000000% agree
  • Honestly one of the worst decisions I've ever seen that
  • I think our 'corruption' shouts are going to week by week gain more followers
  • I can't even fathom that decision
  • The game couldn't be anymore bent if it tried.
The scary thing is the Telly clapper subscribers all round the world lap it up like old school WWF wrestling and as long as the money keeps coming so the game's integrity will be forever diminished.
  • The league are desperate for City not to win it again as they dont want another Bayern/PSG scenario.
    Corrupt.

Yes. Yes you can. £100m and he’s yours - that’s only 1.25 Anthonys, it’s a bargain

Everton's whole beef with us because of a 1 in a million leg break for Gomes from a pretty standard Son tackle?! Weird behaviour that

I am assuming along with the customary disdain for Spurs amongst all rival fans they were desperate for City to win so as that Liverpool have less chance of winning the league.

as surely Liverpudlians cheering for cheaty oil Mancs like little fangirls would be beyond strange.

Yeah, I was pretty confused at first because there were a load of them doing it, but that's definitely the main reason.

A fair few do dislike Son though.
