Melt down and bitching about the time of the FA Cup game on Friday.

Probably a deliberate ploy by the FA to make sure Spuds have a full house but the away end is sparse. Then Sky, BBC et al can peddle the myth that we have no fans.

Remember Spurs are the media’s favourite non-red team.”
Why would they come to see their team not score again anyway?

You need to understand how engagement works. The person who made this (that I haven’t clicked on), made it to generate engagement that will eventually translate into money (not much, but money).

All these political outrage pieces that people forward to each other are similar - right wing guy vs left wing person saying outrageous shit. They sit down, plan it out, say it so you will forward it after you click on it.

This is a ton of youtube now and lots of twitter. A lot of the twitter posts are AI, particularly around the wars - AI generated military stuff that is incredibly inaccurate that people forward.

So don’t click on it, don’t forward it - they are using you and you are being used by them
You could repeat this a thousand times and people won't take notice. They don't want to. "What difference does my one little click make" will be the overriding attitude and the urge to 'share' will be just too strong.

  • For what it’s worth I think spurs are a repugnant club, you might disagree.
  • Hopefully spurs continue to achieve the sum total of fuck all (no change there) , Ange fucks off and you are consumed with your debt and go bankrupt.
  • Ange's record in the Champions League is terrible.
His first season his Celtic side got knocked out in all 3 tournaments and last season they finished bottom of the group.
  • Asking on behalf of my husband who is a Spurs fan….any similar online forums for Spurs fans that aren’t total cesspools?
  • They've got to be the most pointless club to ever exist, right? Even 20 or so years ago when we were languishing and Spurs fans were giving me shit I could come back that we'd at least won the league in the past half century.
  • It's absolutely mind boggling that they've been there or about the top of the league for decades and have won absolutely nothing of note. They've spent nearly as much as anyone (but never as much as they had available, mind) and had some genuine world class players come through with nothing to show for it. Imagine being in a position to trot out a side with Modric, Kane, and Bale all in their prime and failing to do so?
They're the footballing equivalent of a handjob. Maybe they served a purpose a long, long time ago but they're certainly not relevant today, and everytime you come across it you're left both unfulfilled and sorely disappointed.
But, congrats on the cup in 81 Spurs. Just think if you'd won it 10 years later the internet would've been invented and you coud've read about it there.
  • SO SO SO Spursy recently! Got tonked by Brighton, yet even at 4-0 they still could and should have got something from the game!
  • Norf Laandan in mourning today with plenty of 'Blads" and "Fams" crying in their cornflakes.
Get fucked you premature cry babies. The season ends in May, not December.
Try not to hit the vinegar stroke before Xmas you ****s.
  • Spurs give to club football what England give to the nation …..fuck all
  • Well done Ange for putting that hack in his place about Dier. Hopefully over time these no marks will be banned from press room.
  • They were always a decent attacking side with proper support, first English team to win a European trophy, they won the first ever UEFA cup in the 70s (europa league today) won it again in 84. We won the lottery and got lucky, god knows where we would be without Sheikh Mansour. Don’t forget pre 08 we last won the league in the 60s like them. They were terrible in the nineties but you know what? They did win the cup 10 years later in 1991, and were record breakers at the time with 8 fa cups. They have a loyal fan base and much prefer them to Arsenal & Chelsea to be honest.
  • Timo Werner inbound on loan from RB Leipzig.
    The offside machine!
If Ange can get a consistent tune out of him, he's some manager.
What a come-down from Kane - and Son.
  • we really need to sort out a laughing emoji instead of a like button.
    Timo Werner
'I've joined a very, very big club - I think it shouldn't be too bad to say i've come here to win titles '' (BBC)
  • It's not really weird at all.
Werner has always been an increidbly hard worker and fast as fuck. That's the two most important things for Postecoglu, he'll do loads of defensive work and pressing, and then he'll be able to counter when the ball is won high up.
They've got a good squad player for £15m, who could be an absolute steal if Postecoglu can bring back his confidence in front of goal like he did with Son and Richarlison

Ouuuhh, something has spooked them! Out of the Big 6, they are usually the ones most friendly/complimenatry to us. Sometimes Manure as well but mostly Shitty. So what happened?? The FA Cup draw? Or they can only fart in the Janauary transfer window? Or for the first time in their brief gloryhunting history seeing us a tiiiiiiny bit of a threat mayhaps?

Their fans have always had a deeply weird hating attitude towards Spurs. The Gallagher brothers (Oasis of course, great band but utter tools as people) have repeatedly said in interviews how much they utterly despise and hate Spurs. Given their team were perennial failures until the oil money its a bit rich frankly.

Just very strange. As a North West based Spurs fan I've found United, Liverpool and Everton fans to be far more complimentary /reasonable when talking to me about us. Particularly United fans in general - and older United fans the most of all, who respect our style of play and remember when we actually won the league and European trophies. Liverpool were similar until we started to challenge for top 4 and they could then move on to rant about VAR decisions ad nauseum.......

Not all that strange - the Gallaghers will have been kids in ‘81 and probably traumatised after seeing the FA Cup slide away.

Of course as soon as they got bought up by a country they became nothing. Nothing any of their fans say means anything any more.

I was fine with Liverpool until that game we got two penalties and I think Kane missed one. Then the petitions started coming about us diving. Then when their players started mouthing off about Kane on Twitter claiming goals, it just started being a bit petty from then. Previously probably one of my preferred teams, but a rivalry has come in since Klopp.

In some ways we can thank Liverpool for Ange being here.

4-0 loss at Anfield - led to AVB getting sacked, which led to Sherwood, which led to Poch, and the golden years, before he decided to wear all-black, and his emo period, which led to Mourinho, who turned out to be miserable, which led to Nuno, who did not make us proud, which led to Conte, and by the end - we preferred to "keeeeeeeel him" - which led to the Ange Revolution.

AVB was sacked after the 0-5 loss to Liverpool at home

I was hit in the arm by a dart when standing in the Anfield Road end with the Spurs fans in 1980. I didn't make a big thing of it, and the police took the dart off me. (I foolishly declined treatment, because I wasn't aware that I was bleeding as I was wearing think winter clothing.)
I subsequently wrote a constructive letter to LFC explaining what had happened, and suggested they follow Manchester City's lead, where they had installed a fine mono-filament net alongside the visitor's enclosure at Maine Road, to prevent flying objects getting through. I never received a reply.
What offended me most was that this was the era of "Peak Liverpool" and every pundit seemed keen to hold them up as an example of a well-run, responsible club. I realised then that Liverpool FC have always been self-serving twats.

The local sport on match days in Stanley Park was for slicing up visiting away fans with Stanley knives and stealing their clothes, shoes and money. The bizzies (Lancs Police) never did anything about it if they could get away with ignoring it

My hatred goes back somewhat further than that due to the shit from plastic Liverpool fans at my NW London school in our relegation year. I still have a special hatred for Ronnie Whelan for that final though.
I met him on holiday in Tenerife in 1989, top fella tbh, I told him how he'd broke my heart as a kid & he was cool about it, his Wife was a stunning dark haired Irish women.
He had a kick about with me and my cousin every day

Don’t know how old you are but I’m 50, grew up in Palmers Green in the 70s/80s. At primary school you were either Spurs, Arsenal or Liverpool. I can name the one Man U supporter. Man City or Chelsea? Don’t make me laugh. I suspect that people of my age have always and will always hate Liverpool. And I don’t just mean people from North London.

Of course City fans hate us. We have a great record against them. They got dirty money and must have thought those days were gone. Yet we still hold this great record against them. They have to come up with any excuse to make us into the bad guys. They're just entitled sore losers (on the limited occasion their team loses) who think their billion pound squad should roll over us.
