What to do with Sandro?

With Scott Parker's recent form as well as our great start to the season it's hard to see Harry changing things any time soon (barring injuries). Is anyone else worried about Sandro not being happy and wanting a move?

There were rumours of big clubs interested in him over the summer and he probably did enough in 2 legs against AC for most of Europe to notice his quality. It's well documented how good friends he is with Gomes who looks destined for a January move so that could clinch it for Sandro. Maybe signing Leandro in January could help the situation?

He's had time to settle in and probably feels he's done enough to warrant a starting place. Parker will no doubt get injured at some point but I think Sandro will still be expecting to be first choice when fit (I think he should too).

I've never seen this level of squad competition at Spurs before so it's a nice problem to have. I just really don't want to see someone leave that will possibly be one of the best DMs in the world in 5 years time when Scott Parker is long since retired.

With a fully fit squad, players like Defoe, Lennon, Gallas/Kaboul and Sandro must wonder what they have to do.

Not worried. Sandro is still young and learning his trade. PLUS he has been injured.

He will get plenty o game time.

I love Sandro. It's a very odd feeling though, having such depth in squad that we're worried about players leaving because they're not playing regularly. I sincerely hope we can keep him for a long, long time.

Personally I'm hoping he'll play against Fulham alongside Parker with Modric pushed up the pitch where we can benefit from his influence/craft in the final third.

I think Sandro will be the first name on the team sheet for the tough away games

He will get a lot of game time this season, Harry has already said that we will need to play 2 DM's often this season which is the exact way we need to play when away from home. As we have come unstuck away from home a lot in recent seasons due to us not having a solid base to build from. Sandro and Parker will provide that for us.

I hope to see Sandro and Parker together in the centre of midfield, but Modric has to play centrally too.

There were times early in second half when i wished he was on the pitch rather than the bench.

When we attack we can leave ourselves so open at the back that it's asking an awful lot of Parker to plug all the gaps - mind you he is doing a bloody good job at doing it.

Think we need Sandro playing regularly to assist Scotty, tho it might unfortunately be at the expense of Lennon who was very instrumental in our link up play yesterday, especially for both Bale goals

Sandro will get a lot of game time. Our first choice set of midfielders are VDV, Modric, Bale, Parker, Lennon and Sandro (not in order).

They'll all get a lot of game time and if anything it's a positive having Sandro on the bench as it shows we don't need to rush people back from injury.

I'm thinking the likes of Huddlestone might have to move on if he wants to get regular football.

I doubt many managers talk in formations any more.

I think we can easily fit

Sandro
Parker

Modric
Bale

Van Der Vaart
Adebayor

In the same side. The link up play and movement yesterday between Van Der Vaart, Bale, Modric, Lennon and Adebayor was excellent at times.

He'll have to get fit first.

Back on topic, should we send Sandro and Defoe out to Russia to play?

Well yes but there are so many central midfielders ahead of him that Hudd won't get too much game time when fit.
