...You've ever felt so angry with spurs and then felt amazingly contrasted elation at different points in the same season?

I'm referring to the manner of our FA cup exit when we were one step away from the final with a team already relegated and in administration standing in our way; and our LONG awaited qualification for the CL.

If I'm being honest I can't really think of two maximally contrasting times in the same season. This feels 10x better than the CC win, and I can't remember any other points in that season where I was as disappointed with Spurs as I was with them against pompey. The only time I've ever felt that disappointed and angry was lasagna-gate, and strangely there was no joy in that season. So does anyone who's older than 18 recall any similar season? Or even a season that I'v missed?

For me the Pompey game didn't really bother me too much, sure it hurt for a couple of hours but I still had this feeling if we could get some points out of Arsenal and Chelsea games we would still have a shot at 4th which is so much more important than a FA Cup final.

Now West Ham game with out players sick did hurt like hell, it took me most of that summer to get over that one. Even the Scum losing in the final didn't help that much.

I am still in shock over the Man City game. Was so pissed off when they disallowed King's goal and then total elation when Crouch scored. Nothing quite like pulling for Tottenham. :hump:

Part of me thinks we would not have gone on to beat Arsenal and Chelsea had it not been for the manner of that defeat. In a week we went from absolute dispair to elation, and in 20 years I have never been so proud to be a spurs fan.
