I'm sure someone has posted that he is nearly ready for training or has started training.
Is this true?

No, we will be lucky if he is back for pre season

Although the signs are good due to the work he is doing in Brazil with Internacional

The worry is (was talking to a mate about this) not everyone recovers from such long term injuries. We're all expecting the beast back but you would be foolish not to wonder if he will 100% get back to his best.

he posted something on twitter about being back soon, but there was no context as to what he would be back from.
Think he had just gone over to Brazil at that point :sorry:

Sadly, I think not.

With losing Modric, VDV and King we needed fortune with injuries.

BAE, Kaboul, Parker and Sandro all being out for long periods have made this a difficult season.

Add to that Lennon, Bale and Defoe missing the odd game

We were always going to get bad luck with injuries this year, when don't we?

I suppose last year was one of our better seasons. Ade stayed injury free, more or less, VDV seemed to constantly do his hamstring but actually we got quite a lot out of him. Kaboom stayed fit. I'll stop there as it's depressing me, we really should of got 3rd last year
