I for one can't wait to see Berbatov leave. THe guys' got talent but his heart is not with us. His performance and body language is visibly different when in his first season with us.

Berbatov is going to be great for United. You can convince yourself otherwise, but he'll fit in perfectly. He can play up front by himself, which they need. He's creative and he's the finisher/aerial prescence they need. If you spend 28 million on someone, you're going to play him. I'm not going to boo him. I'll be saddened to see him in the Manchester United kit and sad that I don't get to watch him weekly. He added that extra touch of class and excitement to our fixtures. The bitter part of me is torn between wanting to see him fail and wanting to see him excel. I feel like there is a good chance he will excel though. Berbatov is underrated as a striker. He really is one of the best in the world.

None of you will boo Berbatov. He's not man enough to play when he comes to WHL. He'll twist his ankle that week.

I will boo him; as the club do not want him to go and he is under contract to play for our club.

If thats the case then the club dont have to sell him..if they do then its becasue they think it's better that way

contracts are broken the whole time and as a result compensation is paid. Being a footballer doesn't mean that the law should apply any differently to you. the club regulalry breaks contracts of players. If we sell Paul Robinson then we've broken a much longer contract. If the club can do it then so can the players

I might aswell start following Man Utd if all our players keep going there. Getting fed up with it to be honest - buy a decent player - player proves more than his worth - player goes to man utd. It will no doubt happen again with Modric or Dos Santos.

How are we or anyone meant to ever compete? We will never break top 4 while this trend continues, no matter how much money we get for these players.

We might aswell give Man Utd and Arsenal the trophies and the rest of us not bother playing every week. It's all becoming so dull.

I would not boo the man,(Only Sol has got that out of me) he has been great to watch BUT he has always seem to have a chip on his shoulder. Maybe it's because the other players do not have his quality, and they are not.
But even like in his first season he said the fans were not singing his name and when we did his response I thought looked like a real effort. Everything seems like an effort except when he has the ball, then he is a cut above the rest.
Hope he stays but cannot blame him to move to CL football. Will he be happy at Man U, I dont think so unless he is playing every game. If he is happy I am sure agent will be in background looking for something else £££££££££££££

Of course i wont boo him. Fantastic player, gave us two great seasons, and deserves to play for the best team in Europe currently. The best player ive ever seen in the lilly white strip for that matter. It sucks that we probably will lose him, but id rather cheer him for what he did at the club than get bitter about him leaving.

I'd boo him but I'm not sure my heart would be in it. What annoys me is that almost since he arrived his agent has been stirring things up. Much as I hate his agent, it does appear as though he's doing Berba's dirty work. Berbs says "I'd love to stay" and his agent then says "He wants to leave". Either his agent is talking bollocks, in which case I think he'd have been sacked years ago, or Berbs is saying one thing to the press and another to his agent.

I'd contrast his attitude with Keano's. I wouldn't boo Keane because he's given us year after year of performances without grumbling, even when we were playing like sh*t. And he's never been given the celebrity worship that we dole out to Berbatov.

I really hope they both stay, but in Berbatov's case, I want him to stay and stop stirring.

No. Would never boo him. Unless he waited it out and went on a free, or left and then started saying bad things about the club.

We failed to deliver champs league football and this is the price we pay. The blow will be softened by the huge dollop of cash and the great talent we will buy with it.

Definitely not! And there's no need to even think about it, 'cause he is going to stay!!

...right?

Anyway whatever happens, I'm not going to boo him, ever! Great player!

Nah, won't boo him. He's not been at the club long enough for me to love or hate him that much. Two seasons isn't it?
Shit, we had more time out of Willem Korsten.
In a way I feel sorry for Berbs, the same way that Ronaldo feels like a slave, Berbatov must feel as though he's missing out on so much not playing in the Champions League.
Jimmy Greaves never played in that either (or the equivalent). George Best never got to play in World Cup finals.
Berbatov will never be the player they both were. That's why I feel a bit sorry for him, and why I won't boo him.

I'm still like him, can't forget the good days with him.

I understand that he wants to leave, but he should understand us if some people won't wish him well if it's Man Utd.

i hope he will announce that he would only consider offers from aboad !
