6 goals in in 7 games since Kane went down vs Norwich....

Those opponents: Southampton 2x, Middlesborough 2x, Liverpool, Watford, Norwich. Can't wait for 4 more months!!!

We have created chances in those games but the question is would those who we have been linked with finished the chances off? if not, then no point because we would have spent the cash and be none the better

Anyone know if Dave at the Dog & Duck has got over his gammy toe?

Options running out. Think that’s it for us.

I’m curious as to what better player than a Willian jose you think we are going to get as a backup? We’ve shown our “ambition” for a backup under Kane. Young punt on Janssen, old and cheap Llorente, and now no one. We’re not all the sudden in the summer going to get some stud. This is exactly the caliber of player we’ll be back in for this summer.

Need a director of football.

To not get a striker in this window is completely farcical.
Chelsea fans must consider their window to be a let down as they've failed to bring in a striker when they actually already HAVE 2 fit ones.

The fact that we don't have anyone at all has to go down as a huge fuck up.

Yep, Chelsea have the guy we want and everyone is pointing at them like they’re some mugs? They have 3 senior strikers. We have one!

I can't wait until later on when somebody says 'But Chelsea didn't manage to get one either'. Yeah! They're gonna struggle with one of Abraham, Batshuayi and Giroud having to operate as a false 9!

Exactly. Not only that but Kane will be back and we won’t be in the CL so I don’t know what people are smoking if they see any different outcome in the next window.

I dont really know in all honesty and maybe I have a laissez faire attitude to this but im happy waiting till the summer and it is up to Jose tweaking how we play. I think we will be ok and id rather a striker of course but perhaps we have a better opportunity to get a better striker in the summer. We would also have more money I would suspect in the summer.

This is when I really feel for football players when their clubs are lacking that last bit of empathy.

Why the FUCK aren't we making this happen? Mou wants him, he wants to come, he's La Liga proven, would probably hit the ground running...and even if not-- even if he turned out to be absolutely fucking awful so what?!? We'd sell him back to Spain and take a 15 mil hit...yeah, and?!?!? At least we would've tried! At least we would've taken a relatively low money risk. And that's WORST CASE SCENARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's where the guy comes to Tottenham and is Roberto Soldado MK II-level-awful-- which I don't see happening at all. And in that case-- IF that were to happen: who gives a fuck? So we flushed 15 million or so Quid down the Goddamn toilet-- so WHAT?!? We are among the most profitable clubs on the planet(!!!!!!)-- we have ZERO Strikers on our team for the entire second half of our season, at a time where we somehow someway happen to be sitting two measly fucking games out of top-4 and- with Harry Kane gone until probably next year- are dropping points left, right and center because we have a Grand Canyon-sized hole in the middle of our attack, one which could likely at least somewhat be plugged by THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF it all went tits up and he ended up being the suckiest Forward since Janssen: SO WHAT?!?!?!?????? So we took a relatively small gamble and lost-- who the fuck cares??????!!??!?

And that's assuming it didn't work!!!!! What if-- as is far more likely-- an experienced, hungry, clearly talented pro came into our squad and did a solid job in the middle, occupying space and allowing the attacking players more freedom to roam and score?!? Literally-- WJ wouldn't even have to bag a ton of goals; rather, he would just need to be able to be tough, solid and creative-- hardly an impossibility for the guy in my eyes! We don't need a savior-- we need a cog-- and Mourinho wanted this guy to attempt to be that cog so why on earth didn't we just DO IT?!?!?

Sorry for the rant but seeing this guy's sorrowful video made my head explode. He just reeks of "player" to me. He has that fire in his eyes, would be around a plethora of Latin (Spanish speaking) teammates (so likely a lot less "He needs time to adapt"-type nonsense), would in all likelihood LOVE it here, his addition would be exciting for us all...I mean, I just...I can't...I don't...FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but to my mind there is no-- and I mean ZERO-- reason why Willian Jose shouldn't be in the starting lineup on Wednesday night under the lights before an adoring crowd at our beautiful new stadium against Southampton. THIS ONE WAS DOABLE AND SHOULD'VE BEEN DONE. The money was/is negligible considering the bind we're in. I cannot fucking believe IN SOME WAYS what a shit joke club we are.

I couldn't care less that we got a CM and a Winger in: WE HAVE ZERO STRIKERS.

ZERO.

What other team in Premier League history can say this? Why do we do this? How on earth can we do some things so well and others so poorly that it's almost laughable? What top-ish team in Europe has zero Strikers?

Something is seriously off with Tottenham. Unbelievable.

I can’t believe there’s not a striker playing in world football who couldn’t come in and do a semi decent job at a reasonable price.

It just seems utterly lazy that we haven’t identified anyone really.
