Kvara would be a dream signing

what do people think about ko itakura, the cb at gladbach? How does he compare to Lloyd Kelly (and Jarrod branthwaite)?
Really like him actually but pretty sure I saw he’s looking into getting surgery for some reoccurring injury

Another young player I really hope we are keeping an eye on is 20 year old Argentinian left footed RW Matías Soulé. He is currently on loan from Juve at Frosinone who are sitting mid table after being promoted from Seria B which they won last season. Soulé originally joined Juve from Velez in 2020. He was very much a Paratici wonderkid pick at the time and Juve had to fight off others including Monaco to get his signature. He is a fast, very technical RW who also has an eye for goal. As I've said in the past i'm no Juve fan, in fact I can't stand them as I follow Inter in Seria A, but they have a good track record of picking up exciting players (Paratici is the man) and Soulé was exactly that. Unfortunately for him tho I feel that his development specifically over the last two seasons was handled poorly and he was never really given a chance to grow. It obviously doesn't help that Juve have been a mess of late in general but when Soulé did make it onto the pitch it was often as a last gasp hail mary in the dying minutes of a loosing game. Anyway it got to a point where this summer gone Juve, in desperate need for money (hence them putting Vlahovic and Chiesa up for sale) decided to offload him. Fiorentina were very interested and tried to come to an agreement but Juve wanted to insert a buy back and ultimately La Viola didn't have the funds anyway so he ended up on loan at Frosinone. When we had ITK about two Juve players I mentioned at the time that id be very happy if he was one of those we were looking at because IMO he has a huge amount of untapped potential and the Paratici link made me hopeful.

Anyway this season he already has 5 goals (two of which were headers) and one assist (although he should have at least 3 or 4 if it wasn't for some awful finishing) and has hit the post a further 3 times (one of which was a beautiful effort from outside the box). Suffice to say he is starting to look like the player many thought he could be. Now obviously its still very early and he might of course go off the boil but thus far he has been a huge part in Frosinone's very respectable start to the season. With that in mind I really hope we keep a close eye on him over the season as Juve's financial problems will not go away any time soon and if he continues to impress he could be another fantastic young addition to our front line.

For those of you that like a video here are highlights just from his time at Frosione thus far this season. And keep in mind this is his first full season playing regular first team football.

If we are looking for a young striker personally I still want Marcos Leonardo. Newcastle are now getting interested and he’s available for around £25 mil.

Wasn't the rumour that he's off to Roma in January?

They tried to buy him in summer but couldn’t agree a fee. Roma only wanted to pay around €18 mil. They are still interested but of course they have Lukaku now and they certainly can’t afford 25. Tbh €25 mil for a player of his potential is very good business imo, if Santos were in a stronger position im sure they would be asking for twice that.

The Gift Orban hype train seems to have well and truly died. Think he has scored 2 goals in his last 15 games or so and starts most games on the bench now.

Will be interesting to see if he recovers to a productive rate over the season.

If we are looking at cover for Udogie, then Patrick Dorgu at Lecce looks to be a fantastic prospect. Very similar type of player to Udogie and still only 19. Already on the radar of some big clubs so we would need to move fast but definitely a player with huge potential.

He’s young, very young, he’s bound to be inconsistent at his age. But it goes to show that people shouldn’t get over excited about unproven youngsters playing in lesser leagues.

Had we signed him, he was never going to be the solution to the Harry Kane shaped hole in the team that a lot of people assumed he would be.

dont know if this is itk from BEN, at least hes got the itk caps lock on

jOTA I THINK WILL HAPPEN
Does he offer anything that Solomon doesn't, or have we written Solomon off already? Their highlight reels are remarkably similar, and Solomon hasn't exactly set the team alight, so far.

Idk, doesn’t particularly thrill me as a transfer tbh.

I don't think it would be the worst signing but I feel we need players above this level for the wide position now. Adding real 'killers' to the wings is one of the few things left to do with this team to really elevate it IMO.

Thats my big issue with it, if we didn't have Solomon or Gil then i'd be more open to it but at this point its so evident that we need to add some top quality to the front line. We need a Maddison type addition to the front line and Jota isn't that. Like you say he isn't a bad player but at this point we have to be looking higher if we want to push for the top IMO. We don't need more squad players in attack.
