I'm struggling to find the appetite for more World Cup after the England result :(.

I'm actually looking forward to Tottenham again...

I have to admit, I'm a little worried about Costa Rica. They seem to play with a lot of pace, energy and determination and that could seriously hurt Italy. They were an unknown quandary going into this WC and provided a big shock against Uruguay, showing that anything is possible. The last time a team played Italy with that sort of energy was Japan at the Confed Cup and they gave us a right run for our money and were unlucky to lose.

Would be crazy for Costa Rica and Italy to come out of the groups lol

To be frank, I think England are out. I just can't see Costa Rica losing both their remaining games. Italy may just play it safe and go for a draw today. Even if Costa Rica loses today, this England squad will not beat them.

They didn't take their pants off. Another language difference from across the pond - pants here means underpants. We call pants trousers (although it looked as though they were taking off shorts).

Herein ends today's lesson. ;)
The UK needs to go back to school and learn the language again. Pointless u's, center spelled as centre, this horseshit. Clean it up, guys.

How would going for a draw be playing it safe? If Italy draw there is still a possibility they could fail to qualify for the next round. If I were the Italy manager I would be going all out for this match rather than taking a draw and hoping to get something against Team Suarez or that England beat Costa Rica.

This is worse than the retards in America who persist on calling soda "pop" and the idiots who say "merry", "marry", and "Mary" the same.

Pointless u's are still better than America's blanket use of -ize. ;)

As much as I am pleased that the US was drawn into the toughest group, I think FIFA missed a huge opportunity. A group of the US, England, Russia and Iran would have been a sight to see. Diplomacy through football

Dying to see a world cup group of the US, Israel, Iran and North Korea, though. Now THAT would be awesome.

No World cup team has ever qualified for the knockout round after losing their first two matches
What's that got to do with me supporting Italy?

There's a first time for everything.

I won't stop hoping until it's mathematically impossible.
