If we are in advanced discussions with David Villa, then this could be why the "Robbie Keane leaving" rumours are flying around. I find it hard to imagine Keano playing alongside Villa as a front two, whereas Berba & Villa would be a natural fit.

As for Joaquin, he's always struck me as a bit of a luxury player. Undoubtedly talented, but more of an out-and-out right winger than a disciplined, hard-working, right midfielder. He was signed by Valencia for c25 milion Euros, and if he's being hawked around to other clubs, it's probably because he's been so inconsistent. But then, in La Liga, Valencia have been in meltdown pretty much all season leading to the recent sacking of Koeman. So it's probably unfair to judge the performances of any Valencia players solely on this season.

That blokes a numpty, a few months ago he said Villa might be joining us in the summer, I remember that well, it was after one of the spanish games on sky sports.

Guilleme Balague talks a lot of shit. i remember about 5 years he was saying how Real Madrid had signed Shevchenko and Nesta, next week nothing!! he just spouts a load of tabloid talk.
